  1. Past hour
  2. Lawson is an asset of the club as that was part of the basso deal a couple of years ago in a straight swap. Kawson ain’t going anywhere he loves it at Poole and only recently moved in the area.
  3. With only those 4 teams capable of fielding a side strong enough to realistically win a SWC, it would make more sense to make the competition a 4 round affair with a leg in each country, a finale in Australia coupled with a SGP now that would be something worth watching 👀
  4. Nothing like the last match of the season deciding who comes first in the league. Especially when the winners have already been “knocked out” and can’t win the title. Speedway strikes again.
  5. Think he's a certainty for Poole (If they move up) on his very low average. Shadow of his former self though.
  6. No assets steve so lawson could be tempted away by a big offer
  7. They must have a notebook filled out with different team line ups considering all the different scenarios next season could bring! Oxford implying heavily it's one league. On the other hand you have Ipswich and BV probably trying to get anyone to move up, so they can continue with the Prem. Interesting winter ahead..
  8. Probably not a big deal, as there are only going to be 2 Oxford teams next season they’ll prob switch to a week night again. I didn’t notice any particular improvement on attendance doing Sundays, which is a shame as a win tomorrow and they’ll be League Champions again 🤞C’MON THE CHARGERS!!! 💥
  9. Jack Holder has signed a contract whereas if he does decide to go elsewhere he would personally have to pay £100,000 to get out of his contract with Stal. This is the only way Holder can get out of signing for Stal next season, or if Stal gets relegated. His contract is worth £225,000, and £2,100 a point, if he breaks his contract he is ordered to pay half to Stal.
  10. So after making up lies about Brady the Ipswich trolls then support their own team not bothering including one that couldn’t even be bothered to turn up. A clear indication of a troll is the elasticated morals and totally biased nonsense they trot out. Pick a lane and stick to it as you’d get more respect and appear less troll like if you didn’t yo-yo your opinions based on the riders involved. I presume you’re just looking for reaction all the time which in itself marks you out as a wrong ‘un. For all the true Witches fans I still hope you pull of the win that is needed after so so long but when I think of the riders, management and trolls I hope they lose big. Shame John Louis isn’t around as he would not put up with this. A true great that I had the good fortune to meet in the pits following the Superama at Hackney back in the 80’s. Top fella sadly missed.
  11. Well done to Sheffield for topping the table. Best team in the league over the season and even more remarkable given the injury to Tai at the start of the season. You need commending for how you got on with the task of finishing top following that set back. No continued bleating about your misfortune or spouting what you would have won like some teams from down south where we’ve had to endure the same all this season as well being told they will take all before them. True class Sheffield and a lesson to those that are lacking in that department. Fingers crossed to more war of the roses encounters and seeing the bend two barmy army at the NSS again.
  12. Poland already seeded leaves the other final spot between GB/Australia/Denmark, realistically. I wonder what odds you'd get on the 'draw' for the SWC semis splitting up whichever two sides get there? Hard to see anything else than a GB/Australia/Denmark/Poland final already. I'm sure it makes sense from a financial perspective, less so from a sporting one.
  13. Today
  14. Extraleague App confirms date of the Warsaw final as Saturday 29th August 2026.( the date i posted in January lol)
  15. The Danes operate a squad system though, so you could have a 7/9 rider squad (that was squad sizes in 2025) for a 5 rider per team meeting. Also factor in they must have a certain number of Danish riders participating in each team/match. Danish riders are more likely to miss Wed than an Australian Junior rider in his first season imo. The Bailey comment I made was based on rumours that were put on the Forum a few times. There seemed a level of confidence at the time (similar to what we saw when Cairns was signed months before it was made official). Pirates of Poole in response to my post stated he has heard the team will look more different in 2026 and said "very exciting". Is he in the know or is it conjecture ?? Also was the comment in regards to the team in 2025 or in reply to my post on team idea for 2026. We know Rowe & Cairns have 2 year deals so they are signed. One would expect Lawson as an asset is nailed on ?? and according to you Z.Cook is going nowhere. Is Rushen signing/signed already. That would leave 2 either Bailey and another or 2 new ones. Personally not a lot of who is on the Greensheets at the available points left excites me. Zischke has a lot of potential upside. No doubt the Fords have it in hand and have their preferred option already mapped out.
  16. It shouldn't be pitched at having to choose between 1 team or 2, it should be pitched as sign the contract at what we're willing to pay or don't. I know the world has moved on since the 80s/90s, and there aren't many jobs now who'll bend over backwards to accomodate speedway riders, but their bluff has to be called at some point. If clubs want one league, and clubs can only afford X amount, that is what the riders will have to do. Of course, I'm sure some will say "stuff it", but how many realistically will? They'll still be reasonably paid for what is, let's be honest, a better 'job' than most.
  17. 10 teams will be involved in SWC 2026. these 10 will all be decided by finishing positions in next weeks SON. Into the final are the SON winners - If Poland win it then the runners up are in it along with Poland. 8 teams that contest the Semi’s must include Germany and Latvia( staging the Semi’s) and other 6 teams will be the highest placed SON result teams.
  18. That depends if their bad financial situation is resolved. If it isn't then he's looking elsewhere.
