Good for you đand thatâs the whole point, so you should have to work hard, damn hard, beyond hard because itâs not a given that anyone makes it as a rider unfortunately too many believe they are entitled to a career a soon as they have a bike

It cost over ÂŁ8k for a new mx bike theses days ÂŁ5k for a decent second had one and parents pay around ÂŁ50 every weekend to race so speedway is pretty cheap and can be run on a budget, a decent well serviced engine for a nl rider should do 40 heats if it is looked after before it needs a service .

That seems like a trustworthy team to take the sport forward. A bent regal approval from the dross of society and luckily the real royals distance themselves from this slime ball and shag Ferguson. Sadly for them but the children have had to disown the disreputable parents. Oh well all part of lifeâs rich tapestry. -
@IanBrannan are you able to disclose any information in terms of what the imbeciles at the BSPL are advising about this seasonâs fixtures? It must be a nightmare for BSN; unable to promote or sell literally the only positive product associated with what has become a shambles of a sport in this country. Add to that the fact fans canât plan travel and accommodation while riders committed to more organised leagues will inevitably encounter availability issues with their UK clubs. The AGM was almost a month ago. They are utterly inept at their job. Itâs embarrassing.

Being the parent of a rider we have no sense of entitlement as a family we have worked hard to get the boy to the level he at .

40 days until the first tapes rise (Klindtâs testimonial) and the competitive fixtures remain unknown. The circus continues. -

On the 2026 rules and regs it states- "010.2.3 Amended MAâs With the approval of the BSP LTD GC or Directors for: - a) riders who have been absent from British Speedway racing for more than 3 seasons (the table in 10.2.2 will be used as a reference, the MA may be increased or decreased) b) riders who have been absent for more than 1 full season due to a speedway injury" Doesn't mention any amount of percentage of reduction- however, I'd read that as woffinden could apply for a reduction under the current rules.

How was it .. bet it didnât touch the sides eh ..

And if youâre looking for leadership and transparency for this new regime then look no further than Peter mandelsen and his able deputy Andrew Mountbatten Sh*thouse. What could go wrong. - Today

8% is stated elsewhere but it seems to only relate to the Championship -
Itâs been mentioned before on this thread but I canât find it. What is the usual average reduction for missing a full season injured?

I doubt you would find any takers or support for freeing the 4,5 or 6. Lock them throw the key away and start again. Buxton to lead the way with real genuine individuals who want to ride without doubling up and know how to entertain. All riders to pay to compete and standardised bikes, track spare and second halves. Racing at weekends and the sport in the UK taking back control of its destiny and starting over without feeling the need to compete with other European leagues. -

Didn't BSN only do CL in their first year? Then in their 2nd offered PL as a separate addition. Can't think that leaving CL passes this late when allegedly CL is definitely happening is their choice. -

Aries replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No idea why they havenât sorted the Championship fixtures, but where BSN are concerned (and Iâm only speculating), with no top flight TV deal that we know of, they might be in a position to stream Premiership league meetings on top of the Championship and are waiting on confirmation of league structure. Then they can price up their individual, and joint packages and get them out. -

It does sound a bit like a conspiracy theory like but in the absence of any news at all, there's little else to do other than to speculate. Surely there's nothing to stop CL fixtures and BSN passes being issued... but nothing -

Perhaps that is why Belle Vue have not announced the number one yet. All the thinking leads to a conspiracy, perhaps this season is cancelled but no one is admitting it and all the news releases thus far are fairy tales. Too many whyâs and not enough sensible answers. Bring in the detectives, anyone will do but I suspect Colombo could get to the bottom of all the conundrums. Either him or Kojak.. -
Just a case of who imo. Woffinden or Lambert would be the most likely names. Fully expect Brady to be back at Belle Vue but it's taken an awfully long time for them to announce him but that's the longest of long shots imo.
