With his attitude towards British Speedway (especially Plymouth) does he really deserve a testimonial? I think there's too many testimonials now anyway, remember when it used to be 10 consecutive years with 1 club. Because of the points limit, I understand it's hard to stay with a club that long, so I'd suggest 10 years with a club still, but doesn't have to be consecutive seasons. But any rider that misses matches when they don't get a facility, that season doesn't count?

Tobias to miss Wednesday meeting at Sandy Lane, covered by RR.

Interesting idea, but I don't think there's a need for helping teams be stronger when they're missing riders. As it stands there's no reasons for clubs to replace injured riders due to the guest system, if a club had multiple riders missing, this ruling could make them even less likely to make a change? Plus it would be easy to abuse, say you can only get a 6 pointer to replace your number one, would clubs then try & convince a reserve to be ill to allow a stronger replacement in? -

For more flexibility of available choice of guests allow any team with more than 1 rider out to replace them with any riders upto a combined total of the missing riders' average rather than replacement based upto individual rider average maybe avoiding R/R at least ??? 🤔 -

This team has always been very capable. Ben's injury, close away defeats an home and away to BV and Sheffield that could so easily have been wins - add a bit more confidence and belief and our season could have looked very different..... If this team all fit average wise again next season, I'd probably take it, especially if we can't attract a genuine no. 1.... -

There are clearly some issues at Oxford but fair play to McDiarmid, Killeen and particularly Kildemand for putting in plenty of effort. Palovaara was reasonable considering it was his AFA debut but the less said about the others the better. As a friend of mine said last night, we've only been waiting five months for the Lynn team to all click 😁 the opposition was obviously very poor but nice to hit 60 albeit too late to mean much. -

Agree, some people have to make things up to suit an agenda. It was done early as I even decided to go into the bar last week and have a listen to what the riders had to say. Then I was getting a drink from McDonald's at 10pm. -

"If" that is fhte case ... Then just don't turn up.... And state why..... That way the fans will actually understand and more than likely be on your side.. Turning up and just going through the motions means fans will be cheesed off with you after having paid to watch you ride... And a ban won't make any difference to a rider if they are not getting paid anyway.... -

Yes baffling decision, could of give it to dudek or woryna but like in other round wildcard’s maybe the organisers don’t want the wildcard to win and let’s face it on his current form I can’t see him breaking top ten -
Because once teams get to the play-off final, none of the previous results matter. Whoever wins on aggregate deserves to be league champions. Now I dislike the play-offs & think top of the league should be crowned Champions. But now it's just a qualification league, finishing top doesn't mean anything more than having choice of home or away leg first! I don't necessarily agree Leicester will win it, I still think Ipswich are favourites, but if they do, they'll be deserving Champions.

Didn't say there was a need for that, just the score I expected based on the 2 sides. I'd hope every rider gave their best for the fans who paid to get in. None of this "lowering of averages" I read about on various posts. -

What would be the need for that, Mulford said he was testing different bike before hand, I would hope and expect others were to. -
Villads Nagel is looking like he will give him a run for his money for best newcomer. Nagel hasn't had the benefit of starting from reserve but has been hugely impressive so far, he can gate, can pass outside, inside and cut back. He's had 7 matches and been paid for double figures in his last 5. Nagel has still to go to tricky away tracks Armadale (1 possibly 2 times), and Wimborne Rd (1 possibly 2 or 3 times) but so far is averaging above McDiarmid - who didn't have a great meeting at Ashfield this week, although unusually despite being taken out of his 3rd ride for Masters, McDiarmid still got into heat 15
