You misunderstand the gist of my post, I'm referring to the group of posters on General Discussions who refuse to accept that Covid was anything other than a scam. If you scroll up a wee bit you'll see a couple of the usual suspects showed up on here to tell Steve he was mistaken in his diagnosis. As Steve says, I hope your wife made a full recovery. -

I don’t think Salty is. He said apparently in General discussions there are people like BluPanther saying Covid is a hoax and it’s just a bad cold. Absolutely ludicrous and completely uneducated. I hope your wife made a full recovery Tyretrax. -

So are you saying people who had to be put on a ventilator to keep them alive, including my wife, only had a bad cold. -

Heat 13, Emil and Doyle to win us the title would seem fitting! 🙏🏼🏆 obviously I want to win it selfishly, but I would love the boys to win it more for Chris Louis’ commitment to the club and his late father John Louis and dedicate it to him 👌🏻 -

100% agree, Tai should have stuck around in the UK, just because I think he should be a wild card next year for publicity reasons, I don't agree with everything he's ever done, like I said he's a divisive character, he will get press though unlike BZ. And no it's not a World Champs responsibility to promote British Speedway but I think it is their duty to promote World Speedway and you don't do that by hiding away in Poland. -

He's a great advert, his near death experience got a lot more headlines that Bartek's 6th World Championship. And the Poles I've met in day to day life in this country, although aware of Speedway, have shown no interest in discussing it with me... but that may just be me 😂 - Today

Sounds like the people who support that viewpoint are flat earther MAGA/ReformUK loving morons with Israel flags in their bio. Utterly guillable and quite stupid. -

Oh dear, Steve, you obviously haven’t spent much time on the General Discussions section recently. Apparently it’s very clear that Covid was all a big con (similar to that Climate Change rubbish) inflicted upon us by the shadowy cabals who need to keep us in line. Obviously you’ve got nothing but a heavy cold. Don’t normally root for the Pirates but just for you hope they do the business tonight. -
Grand Final 2nd leg Ipswich vs Leicester
mikebv replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The only chance the Lions have is if riders 2, 3, 4 and 5 can beat their opposite numbers scores by at least 3 points each... Not likely.... Fricke will do well to outscore Emil, and six and seven pretty much have zero chance of out scoring their direct counterparts, meaning Ipswich will add around 8 to their score just by those head to heads.. Witches by around 16 on the night I would think... -
Why would that be a problem? All stadia in use are privately owned but sub let to speedway.

Speedway in Poland is incredibly well followed in certain areas, but, outside of them, it is still a minority sport... The average attendances for the top league was over 10k per match this year, however, given they only run four matches a week that is "only" 40,000 per week watching the top tier.. A huge amount versus the UK top tier, but just two football matches in the top division over there can smash that... Zmarzlik getting the "Sports Personality Of The Year Award" a few seasons ago, shows the sport does resonate across the country, but it is still a long way from being the No1 Sport over there.. I could see him winning it again this year which, again, would be a boost for Polish Speedway to utilise... -
