  1. Past hour
  2. I am more concerned about Freddy than Mario, but as always, the question is: who would be better?
  3. Can’t see a single Witch hitting double figures here. I fully expect to beat Belle Vue at Foxhall, but by less than we’ll lose tonight. They have a better side it’s as simple as that.
  4. Lidsey is one of those riders isn’t he. He’s never going to be a serious player, but is handy to have in a third heatleader role.
  5. Agree with others in a comfortable home win, Brennan and King might put up some resistance and maybe Edward’s and Bangs to an extent, 57-33
  6. Ben Barker still has had no response from the bspl. Maybe the riders need to go on strike. Maybe they could start refusing to ride at Scunthorpe for instance
  7. And you got four likes well done LOL. How many riders suffer injuries? The answer is ALL of them. Zischke returned on the bare minimum 3 average, what was the British rider sacrificed averaging before he was sent on the scrap heap? Kerr (another Brit) was also told to fu*k off. Ah good old Belle Vue. The hose wanderers who can flood a track to get meetings called off because a fixture doesn’t suit them.
  8. Today
  9. Hodder has really not really improved with 2 Full Seasons at reserve.
  10. I'm already a bit concerned about Mario Hausl and Freddy Hodder. Hodder looked dreadful at Ashfield last Friday and Hausl only achieving six points and a bonus point from 3 meetings after arriving on a 5 point average doesn't bode well imo. Maybe he will get better but i can eventually see him being shipped out like Ashton Boughen was a year ago. He just cannot gate.
  11. Advance sales look poor, probably the lowest I have seen in the Grandstand. Blocks A and B are usually three quarters full by now, I would say one third full at best currently... And seats behind the tapes are a fifth full at best... There is even South Stand Car Parking available which usually goes a few days before the meeting.. BSN impacting maybe? There isn't any real threat of rain (admittedly it is Manchester).. Hopefully the South Stand is full given it is a whole £2 cheaper... To be honest £50 for a couple to stand watching Speedway does seem to be a tad too much...
  12. I can see a fairly comfortable home win. 54-36 Ipswich missing Doyle and Sayfutdinov is a hugely different team. Brennan, Musielak, King and Lawson can all perform OK at the N.S.S., but they will all need to be on form togerher. Hellstrom-Bangs could be a big scorer at reserve. He really wanted to be riding for Belle Vue ahead of any other British club, so tonight is his chance to show them they were wrong when he was begging them for a team place.
  13. Nice. She is actually very good at her job if you've seen her present other sports. She has made it clear she will do her homework and we have to give her a chance. I'm sure Abbie wasn't knowledgeable when she first started...
  14. "1. TORUN (Rated the team this year after getting rid of the deadweight and they look even stronger in 2026 imo) 6. LESZNO (Baffling team bulding by signing most of the 24 relegated side" That's what you wrote. I'd say it's quite obvious why I quoted you... Nothing baffling about the team Leszno have put out.
  15. Don't know why you've quoted me when I clearly had Leszno 6th which is a middle of the road prediction. Only rethinking I'm willing to do at this stage is dropping Torun down to 3rd because of Dudek reverting back to his old self after a freak 2025 season much like Drabik.
  16. Zielona Gora v Grudziadz now this Thursday 23rd April start time 6.30pm UK time. Grudziadz now go at 3 Szarszewski
  17. In Poland? He's on a bit of a hiding to nothing in that awful Częstochowa team! He did OK is Leszno, haven't watch the Lublin meeting on a stream but it's against arguably the strongest 1-7 in the league and it would have been his home debut.
  18. Doesn't have to be the large tracks that provide good racing, some of the smaller more technical tracks provide it too...the racing in the scunny v Poole meeting the other week was superb..as is mainly the case around the ewr.
  19. Oh yes, Berwick are renowned for silverware and winning at all cost, with poor crowds. Haven't made a semi final or the play offs for 12 years for crying out loud. I’d argue there was more there on Saturday than what was at Ashfield, albeit down to Glasgows great away following, but if you think that crowd was bad, for a small town like Berwick, you’re very badly mistaken. Berwick Rangers attendance which I believe includes all tickets given out, and season tickets, not just people through the gate, recorded an attendance of 545 in the afternoon, and having walked through the car park, I can say there was easily 3x as many cars for the speedway, possibly 4x. The track was poor, and it may of been deliberately like you suggest, but we aren’t allowed access to it from around 1pm-5.30pm, and it was forecast to and did rain from 11-12, thankfully the rain didn’t amount to much and we were good to go, but if it had been prepared differently, and more rain arrived, we could have been in bother.
  20. Ah it’s only at the end of the season that Kurtz didn’t try at Foxhall I’m sure he will be fine at this early stage …. You can’t really put Bewley and trying in the same sentence as Kurtz as Bewley puts 110% into very meeting Should be an absolute walk in the park for Belle Vue this one Legends like Doyle and Emil have gone to be replaced by Lawson who hates the place and Musielek who had 12 races there last season and scored 7 each time We have no Ellis who also goes well there and he is replaced by Nicholls who by his own admission can’t ride Belle Vue and is possibly worse at Belle Vue then riders like Blodorn and Cook are at Foxhall which is hard to believe Kurtz and Bewley should max out easily Cook and Blodorn go well at home as does Tate This will be the worst track for Ipswich all season to go to ….. and the same for Belle Vue at our place…. Trouble is this time we don’t have replaced riders that used to go ok at Belle Vue with riders who don’t I can see Belle Vue getting 55 minimum tonight Back at Foxhall the class of Bewley and Kurtz will keep it closer than previous meetings and we may if lucky get 48-50 at home
  21. BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Peter Kildemand, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Will Cairns. IPSWICH: Tom Brennan, Danny King, Richard Lawson, Scott Nicholls, Tobiasz Musielak, Philip Hellstrom-Bangs, Jason Edwards.
  22. I was thinking more about the results of their first two home meetings if the group is already decided after their two away matches this week. A cynical view I know but a couple of home wins would do them wonders. Unless of course they can get something at Lynn or Ippo this week.......
  23. Thing is Bagpuss what does help out look like ? from a rider prospective I can't see anyone willing to ride here who's better than what they already have so can only think it will be helping out more to cover the likely trading losses.
