That's not what we are referring to. As jenkins was our rising star last year before being injured if a team signs him in the 1-6 this season i believe he should qualify for the 25% reduction on average for graduating the rising star scheme

I liked speedway in the past when riders would go from reserve to heat leader in a season. Unpredictable was part of the sport then sadly it’s all too predictable now.

The rising star is Edwards though.

It really amazes many people how some posts are made not knowing very much about the wide and diverse scope of speedway. Jake Mulford is named as a rider in the Championship for Redcar.

Why are you so certain of this may I ask? Looking at the relevant rules section it doesn't state anywhere the 25% is a one off? If he was allowed to drop back into the scheme then surely all the same rules will apply?

If they run they will probably look at strength in depth like ‘21 title winners Peterborough. As many wise old sages on here say “reserves win meetings”.

Now the Aces promotion machine can really kick into gear and go to town advertising the first Premiership match against... ??????????? Not sure why the four teams so far running haven't put out a fixture list . We know all meetings will be Mondays and Thursdays so just use the blank dates left to run the Ipswich and, maybe, Northampton meetings if they do exist.... Any Mondays and Thursdays blank can be just TBC until all sorted... At the least then fans can start to plan around some dates...

A team manager would want whoever is likely to score the most points and that isn't Max Perry, he improved his average by a little last season but you would not call him up and coming, if Workington were able to fit him in then Etherington would not have a team place, would Perry beat Etherington on a regular basis, not sure he would.
