Good result for Glasgow , at the moment it looks like a Poole v Glasgow final but ….its Speeedway.

Think you will find i said half the racing. And yes it was the dustiest I have seen for many, many years. My clothes, car, shower backed that up.And no i dont need my eyes checking as I do have tests every 2 years, and just recently had them done(June). Thanks for the concern.I take you couldn't see the colour of that dog laying down then, considering he had people around him he managed to be a different colour at the end.Even my socks managed to be a horrible brown colour.

Then you missed out on some very good racing last night, the score didnt reflect the standard of racing well done both teams -
Interview with Gavin Parr on the stream tonight before the meeting. Gavin spoke about Riss' absence saying he didn't expect he would be back this season. That he would love to see him return over the coming weeks, but expect he'll need around 6 months out (based on previous occurrence).

I think considering how weak the two reserves are, Glasgow are really doing well. They only need one of the reserves to step it up a bit and you will have the beating of Poole home and away IMO

Really? Did not look that way -
I don't think Cairns would take lightly (is that the correct term) to being told to "take it easy" to lower his average. Especially as he obviously went to Poole as they were the best club to help him progress in his career, right? After all look at how much effort Poole put into development league speedway 🫢

Solid display from Scunny but heat 15 has been a real problem this year. Worrall 8 points and Allan 6 points from heat 15(home) this season, not really good enough from your 1 and 2. Douglas would have scored double that by himself. -
It’s between them 2.

Luke was the quickest scorpion all night clocking 2 fastest times . -
Clearly you do need your eyes checking because we had exactly the same view then because I was a also on bend 2 & managed to watch all 4 laps of every race with no problem at all. It’s appearing to me you are trying to find a negative from last nights meeting but to be honest . People are just laughing at you when you say you couldn’t watch the racing because of the dust you are just making yourself look a fool everyone in the stadium & watching on BSN can see there was nowhere near enough dust to impact viewing the whole track. @IainB is also the first person to criticise the club when he feels appropriate so to say he is a positive happy clapper of the club is very wide of the mark .

Regardless of who was winning or losing the deciding race, to allow anyone at all to stand inside the exclusion zone while a race continued is inexplicable. As there has been considerable photographic evidence of this (and, l presume, video coverage) the SCB will have to take action. Not regarding the end result, but because of the blatant disregard of the H&S aspect. Heads must roll.

I agree, but it makes Glasgow much stronger. Unfortunately, our reserves haven't come on enough so far this season. Max is taking strides now, but Freddy is still struggling. But we're still a decent side and good fun to watch.

Smarte may well have been doing what was expected of him to begin with, but since Cairnes has joined the party his form has fallen off a cliff, probably not helped by Cairnes being chosen for heat 14 too. If you have a suggestion for an alternative rider now would be a good time to talk to the Fords.
