  1. Past hour
  2. I can speak a fair bit of Polish so can translate some of it .. They said that... "Brady Kurtz was hard charging".. And that he was "coming on strong".... And also, at the end, said "this is Speedway out of the top drawer"... "SPEEDWAYYYYY!!!!!"
  3. A slow start but brilliant racing again once it got going, ending with a superb final. The last two nights have shown how great this sport can be. If only that could be replicated every week across the country.
  4. 1 Will Cairns 2 Harry Fletcher 3 Freddy Hodder 4 Senna Summers 5 Vinnie Foord 6 Jody Scott 7 Max Perry 8 Seth Norman 9 Luke Harrison 10 Cooper Rushen 11 Ryan Ingram 12 Harry Sadler 13 Ace Pijper 14 Charlie Southwick 15 Jordy Loftus 16 Ollie Binns Reserves: 17 Stene Pijper 18 Lee Harrison.
  5. Thought Kelvin’s commentary on that great final was lacklustre, listen to this Polish commentary.
  6. Probably due to weather forecast of rain shorty(which didn’t materialise) spoiled the end of Fri meeting. they can’t win really regarding weather.
  7. from someone who has been to most British GP's...from Wembley, Cardiif, Belle Vue etc....none of them come close to what we are being served up right now, none of them. Instead of people trying to find faults with the last two nights of racing, try and draw on the positives. I for one loved both nights, admittedly I only went to the last night meeting but the atmosphere was very good, the racing was good and dare i say the whole event was run well. Only thing missing was a British rider on the rostrum but the racing made up for that. Cannot wait for next years two rounds at Belle Vue.
  8. With all the adverts and prompts for SWC final tickets during recent GP’s are they struggling for ticket sales?
  9. Today
  10. Last time i went to Bydgoszcz it was a poor meeting, just underlines every track has meetings where the racing isnt up to the usual standard.
  11. There are some on here who cant wait to put the boot into the track, whats happened to the best track in the world etc, to save egg on the face maybe they should actually wait and see how the track develops, conditions affect racing, and there has never been a track anywhere in the world that can produce top class racing every meeting. A bad meeting here still trumps the racing elsewhere.
  12. 100% agree. Very few riders get a GP chance so young. Those that do generally struggle, for example Artem Laguta, Tai Woffinden. Even 21 year old Jason Crump generally struggled in his debut seasonl But you know what they all did OK in the end.
  13. His lack of competitiveness has drawn a lot of comment in this forum. He's a 19 year old kid, if there's any criticism due its to the clowns who think these youngsters, however brilliant they may be, can make up for the 10+ years more experience and developed reflexes, coordination and racecraft of genuine GP contestants. Hopefully getting beaten half a lap in these events doesn't destroy his confidence and he can continue to develop and capitalize on his enormous natural talent.
  14. I was in the East Stand on the third turn too for both nights. An absolutely fantastic place to watch from
  15. Not so, I know of at least one other club that will be running a side next season.
  16. Maybe, but they still had huge track grading breaks and were even watering it on the 1st night
  17. Agree......but some have been wanting GP2 champ in the series the year following.... well they got one now. I just hope he can cope mentally. Tom Brennan must be feeling it too, but he's more mature as a person and will see how much work he has to do to be a regular at that level
  18. Barring injury I think the same , I have never seen another rider with such bike control !
  19. We used to... it's being phased out though
  20. And there was me thinking that there was nowhere near as many as the night before... it very much depends on where you were, everybody must have moved up to the 3rd turn after @Neila's rave reviews 😁
  21. Same for me, I kicked the habit when they hit £1 I think... try it, it's so liberating... a bit like kicking social media 😂
  22. Thanks for the info......but filling in a "program" has always been a big part of speedway with me, old habits are hard to die.
