Update from Stoney on the money collected for the Ben Fund from Belle Vue and Sheffield on Bank Holiday Monday: On bank holiday monday we took our car for under £500 to @bellevuespeedway and @sheffieldspeedway armed with a bucket trying to promote our trip in aid of @srbf. We parked up at the turnstiles before both meetings, and thanks to your generosity, we surprisingly between us all made a grand total of £528.63 which will be paid into the Ben Fund this week. £209.29 at Belle Vue and £319.34 at Sheffield. We are delighted with the way things are progressing, its just the car at the moment thats the problem, which again developed another misfire on our way over the penines. She's in the garage @mantra being looked at by the students who hopefully will get her singing again.
