Not quite, Cairns will not add 4 points to his starting average. It was always going to be vital to keep Kerr, far more reliable than Rowe, Newman is much better than expected, could or maybe should have kept Gilkes for Bowes but the jury is still out on that one.

Nail on the head Cairn's, Rushden and Scott are the three best English youngsters by a country mile, Hagon has probably found his level alternating between reserve and second string but the other three so long as properly handled should be core England squad members for many years to come once they hit early - mid twenties. All at some point should also all be potential gp riders.

I reckon they ought to do Saturday’s on Friday’s result - ie the winner 1st pick 2nd 2nd pick etc, however they just do a ballot at the end of Friday’s GP.

I'm not knocking it Blobby in fact I'm thinking having ad-hoc guests could help the sport out if Belle Vue for instance could get Emil or Jepsen Jensen in say for 3-4 meetings to part cover Bewley crowds you would think would be pretty good to offset the cost.
