Indeed - do want some sunshine? Come on then -
Don't think this is about Berwick. No matter what club had been logged in for that date for a Championship match would have been bumped to get the BSN match on, and complete the section.
-
Thanks Rob.
-
The refund information is sent directly to all ticket holders. You'll have the ticket transferred to April 22, with an option of a refund.
-
Yes in the hour since I first posted Ive WhatsApped some mates. I donโt communicate with people via carrier pigeon.
-
You're spot on with that
-
Asking as you spoke to them after you posted.๐ค๐

Iโve been speaking with some friends Iโve made at Shielfield including one who is a club sponsor and I most definitely am not alone in that view.
-
For God's sake! I give up with this bloody sport. I decided to go and watch this. Waited until this evening to buy tickets - and it's cancelled. Do I get a refund then? That part seems to be missing from the statement. I don't particularly want to go to a rearranged fixture. I'm off work this week. My payment is still pending at the moment. Let's see if they still take it!

Absolutely bonkers ruling. If not enforced anywhere else then itโs a joke to be enforced here. should be enforced worldwide. -
Flagrag has already indicated he has been moved on.
-
I think itโs more likely to get the last BSN meeting done than anything sinister against Berwick. If the BSN meeting is not run until later in the season it could screw up the whole competition.
-
I have no wish for Oxford to fail but changing Berwick fixtures for Oxford doesnโt seem right. If nothing else how many other teams would have that luxury? Berwick fans pay their money just the same as any other clubโs supporters.
-
Oxford has always been the priority, Berwick is/has merely been Oxford B However it is besides the point right now really, Iโd rather see Oxford continue on and have them running, it would be another devastating blow to British Speedway if they can no longer run.
-
I may be alone in this but I suspect other Berwick supporters may feel similarly, rearranging Berwick fixtures to suit Oxford doesnโt sit particularly well. I hope this isnโt an indication as to who the priority is.
-
Turns out I was completely wrong
-
Its the right decision but way too late after advertising tickets etc for the last 3 days
-
These sort of negotiations tend to linger on and if so have a damning effect on the fixtures

Rider insurance (or lack thereof)
mikebv replied to Dave_minall's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I think, to be fair, when a rider isn't aware of such a significant change then the comms. process probably needs looking at.... In my old job employment law changed almost weekly, so I got notified of the updates ongoing, meaning I would follow the "new rules" when making decisions... I wasn't expected to read the whole employment law each year to pick out the changes.. The BSP put out their operating model changes from their AGM, therefore maybe the ACU should do the same? -
I think we all hope so.

Thatโs put the tin hat on their venture. Come in on a gentle wind and gone out like a hurricane
