  1. Past hour
  2. Don't think this is about Berwick. No matter what club had been logged in for that date for a Championship match would have been bumped to get the BSN match on, and complete the section.
  3. The refund information is sent directly to all ticket holders. You'll have the ticket transferred to April 22, with an option of a refund.
  4. Yes in the hour since I first posted Ive WhatsApped some mates. I donโ€™t communicate with people via carrier pigeon.
  5. Asking as you spoke to them after you posted.๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘
  6. Iโ€™ve been speaking with some friends Iโ€™ve made at Shielfield including one who is a club sponsor and I most definitely am not alone in that view.
  7. For God's sake! I give up with this bloody sport. I decided to go and watch this. Waited until this evening to buy tickets - and it's cancelled. Do I get a refund then? That part seems to be missing from the statement. I don't particularly want to go to a rearranged fixture. I'm off work this week. My payment is still pending at the moment. Let's see if they still take it!
  8. Today
  9. My first visit on sunday with my lad and he loved it even though he fell a couple of times and was very rusty but all round great effort from the team and owen was made very welcome Thanks so much for giving my lad much needed track time Paul
  10. Absolutely bonkers ruling. If not enforced anywhere else then itโ€™s a joke to be enforced here. should be enforced worldwide.
  11. Flagrag has already indicated he has been moved on.
  12. I think itโ€™s more likely to get the last BSN meeting done than anything sinister against Berwick. If the BSN meeting is not run until later in the season it could screw up the whole competition.
  13. I have no wish for Oxford to fail but changing Berwick fixtures for Oxford doesnโ€™t seem right. If nothing else how many other teams would have that luxury? Berwick fans pay their money just the same as any other clubโ€™s supporters.
  14. Oxford has always been the priority, Berwick is/has merely been Oxford B However it is besides the point right now really, Iโ€™d rather see Oxford continue on and have them running, it would be another devastating blow to British Speedway if they can no longer run.
  15. I may be alone in this but I suspect other Berwick supporters may feel similarly, rearranging Berwick fixtures to suit Oxford doesnโ€™t sit particularly well. I hope this isnโ€™t an indication as to who the priority is.
  16. Its the right decision but way too late after advertising tickets etc for the last 3 days
  17. These sort of negotiations tend to linger on and if so have a damning effect on the fixtures
  18. I think, to be fair, when a rider isn't aware of such a significant change then the comms. process probably needs looking at.... In my old job employment law changed almost weekly, so I got notified of the updates ongoing, meaning I would follow the "new rules" when making decisions... I wasn't expected to read the whole employment law each year to pick out the changes.. The BSP put out their operating model changes from their AGM, therefore maybe the ACU should do the same?
  19. Thatโ€™s put the tin hat on their venture. Come in on a gentle wind and gone out like a hurricane
  20. Full statement for anyone unable to see: "๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐—ข๐˜… ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ต๐˜€ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ โ€œYou will be aware that over the weekend there have been a series of meetings following the termination of the deal between SIS and Oxford Greyhounds to stream racing from the BetGoodwin Stadium. โ€œInevitably that decision and subsequent ongoing negotiations impact on Oxford Speedway and I can confirm that Wednesdayโ€™s BSN Series meeting between the Cheetahs and Plymouth will not go ahead. โ€œWe will, however, travel to The Coliseum on Saturday night to face the Gladiators with the visit of Poole next Wednesday opening the official home season at the BetGoodwin Stadium. โ€œPlymouth โ€“ and I must thank Mark Phillips for his understanding and co-operation on this โ€“ will now visit Cowley on April 22 to compete the BSN Southern Section fixtures โ€“ a date Berwick were due to travel south to fulfil a Championship fixture on. โ€œThat fixture will be re-arranged for later in the season. โ€œWith complex and involved negotiations between a number of stakeholders, including ourselves, on-going and the added inconvenience of a double Bank Holiday I did not feel it was possible to run Wednesdayโ€™s meeting. โ€œI firmly believe that it is short-term inconvenience which will have long-term and far-reaching benefits for Oxford Speedway and Oxford Stadium. โ€œBritish Speedway Promoters Ltd and the Speedway Control Bureau have been kept updated regarding the situation, as has Oxford Greyhounds. โ€œI know there has been much online speculation and a lot of misinformation posted โ€œas factโ€. โ€œWe will keep our loyal supporters and sponsors updated via the clubโ€™s official channels.โ€ Jamie Courtney, 7 April, 2026 #OxfordSpeedway | #BritishSpeedway๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง"
