I don’t actually know and I’m not sure he actually knows either, he is just a trouble maker for the sport and particularly cradley it’s a shame as a couple of points he makes about the sport are valid ones but he is best just ignored, I certainly wasn’t going to give him the publicity he craves on the podcast

One suggestion would be to look at the scores after heat 14 in both matches, i.e Glasgow having an advantage of an extra heat at home. This would've been an aggregate win for Redcar. The bizarre situation is, had the heat advantages been a tie, it would've been a ballot to decide who goes through, I can't think of a more unsatisfactory way to decide a tie.

Without putting you on the spot Dean what;s his beef you would have thought being an ex rider of the club he would be fully behind them ? No probs if you swerve the question if an answer puts you in a difficult position.

There was no easy way to decide this apart from a replay and there isn't time for that now . But they way they have decided it is probably fair enough , good luck to Redcar in the final and I'm glad everyone injured are now back home .

Hopefully the Championship gets its act together next year if it still exists as a second division, the fixtures have been a shambles for more than one season now. Redcar going through reminds me of England winning the cricket World Cup in 2019 by virtue of more boundaries.

I think its the most 50/50 playoff final yet. Hard to work out what sort of score line you would think is a good result for Glasgow, as Redcar kept it to 6 which wasn't enough and Sheffield only had a 3 point lead against Leicester and that was nearly enough! Also Glasgow nearly held onto their two point lead at Redcar. Before the playoff SFs I would have said Glasgow are a step ahead of us but with Poole's performances at Redcar and at Poole in KOC it is too close to predict imo.
