Couldn't make it last night, how was the second half event? -

Technically every season is an anniversary season🤪

Costs? If Edwards has double the average then it won't be far off double the money surely? Let's face it, Birmingham's season ended the moment it declared its team, so no point throwing any more money at it... Tolley has spent enough flogging the dead horse and keeping Birmingham going, so whatever he doesnt spend between now and season end no one can surely begrudge...

Ipswich vs Birmingham 24th July
ShanoXtra replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
“Jason (Doyle) only did three heats tonight and was suffering from a tooth infection. He gave himself a jolt when he nearly crashed in his third ride and I’m sure if the scores were closer, he’d have gone out in heat 13. With the way the things are with the season he is having and the injuries and now an infection in his mouth, I don’t like pulling them out of a heat 13, but it was the sensible thing to do in the grand scheme of things. “Dan is getting over his ear infection that affected him last week, but it was a tough night for him in the difficult conditions, and he struggled getting himself setup. He now has 10 days off from our meetings and that little break will help him and I’m sure he will be back to his best soon. -

It is wasted in heat no. 8 with Fricke against a second string at 2 rising stars, but maybe Dickson sees it as a guaranteed 3-3 and Thompson might get the better of his counterpart and they sneak a 4-2 out of it -

Could well do, however I can see him earning a 2026 contract regardless of league set up. -

I think it works well at 2, could put him at 3 and use him in a later race but that would mean consecutive rides. -

If Leicester can continue to use Fricke for one R/R it's better than having Becker back I believe. Though I'd move Howarth to #2 and put R/R at 3, 4 or 5 so Fricke doesn't have to be used in heat 8. -
was thinking 2 young lads both for same team is there more to it ive no idea if there is but just a bit funny 2 decent lads similar stage and ability then drop in form and unwell both looked like they were up and coming riders

Maybe something clubs over here should do on "TV nights"? A tenner in and SS holders bring a friend to offset them already paying... A reasonably full stadium delivers a much better advert for the sport...
