Is Jenkins eligible to guest? No longer in a declared team.

I don’t agree with this. We have a points limit and a limit on 8 point riders. That’s already a decent amount of equalisation of teams, and Poole aside, I think most people would greet it’s been very effective at balancing the teams this year. One thing people also have to remember if younger riders are often more dependent on others for travel because they often aren’t old enough to drive legally. In that situation, it’s much harder for a rider based in say the south of England to commit to a club in Scotland. No one’s fault, just practicality. What I would say is the rising star programme really belongs in the Championship rather than the Premiership and it’s a shame we don’t have that. Or maybe there could be a progression and have it in both leagues. I would also be minded towards only allowing British riders at reserve. Mario might not be a fan of that…

Sounds like you need to find a bar and drown your sorry little ass, have you thought of watching netball instead?

Was also there for that meeting. Ive been every Redcar meeting since Workington started back up. That has been the worst time by far. It comes to something when the old track Curator, deemed somewhat of an expert, but left due to a rumoured falling out, had to go onto the centre green and guide the new one on how to fix the god awful first bend. That first bend was catching the experienced riders out, nevermind the lesser experienced.

Looking at this strictly from a business point of view, rather than just as a Speedway fan, the situation seems clear to me from the inetrview. I'll admit that last week I completely misjudged the support that you personally had on here, and I was wrong to try and find the humour in you ranting to HBO. You are passionate about the sport. But looking at the situation now, Richard Coleman's interview sums it all up perfectly. I’m not going to argue that the communication wasn't poor, it was and it should have been common knowledge that these events are not being broadcast. It may have affected people’s decision to subscribe and is no different from me holding back information to purchasers in my business life, but the rest of peoples outrage is completely detached from commercial reality in my opinion. Coleman is just stating the blunt facts of a balance sheet. Television production companies aren't charities run for the benefit of our hobby; they are businesses driven by viewing figures. The hard truth is that outside of Poland, Speedway is just not a popular sport anymore. "Thousands of fans worldwide" phoning HBO on Facebook or wherever else they post and spend their life rather than doing other things and enjoying themselves, doesn't pay for an outside broadcast unit, satellite uplinks, and a full production crew. It takes millions of viewers to make that viable, and the numbers simply aren't there at the moment. As he says, his job has been to "sort the SGP out, first and foremost, as the previous promoter was losing millions". As for the Streaming argument, you cannot sell an exclusive rights package which he has done and then decide to broadcast a rogue stream because people are complaining on a forum. Me agreeing with the interview is just me trying to understand how their business works. Demanding a full television production without the viewership to back it up is pure fantasy. That being said, from a corporate perspective, it would certainly be interesting to hear what the FIM actually think about the situation and where it leaves the commercial value of their flagship junior events.

I'm sure Gusts now does the max 3 leagues already?

Tbh mate, we are all fans and its in our right to have concerns and discuss those on a public forum. I have no issues with what youve posted. Its not like you were slating the guy. As for the 1-7, just seen JJ might be a doubt after an incident in Denmark yesterday. Maybe some day we'll field a full team. Cant complain too much though. Poor Berwick cant catch a break.

Hopefully it’s not a slick dust fest gate and go meeting for fans attending and using BSN! Can see Leicester’s engine room and reserves comfortably outscoring Sheffield’s with heat leaders nullifying each other. Home win 50-40 - Today

Not sure speedway lives and dies on entertainment, if you dont win the crowds soon dwindle. That said there must have some entertainment last night for you Harris got 15 points. There have been many, what you would call entertaining tracks, that are sadly not here anymore, they did not close because there were not entertaining.

Jeppesen and NKI both missing tonight with injuries sustained in Danish semi finals last night. Bomber in as a guest for NKI plus R/R for Jeppesen -
Jeppesen got injured in Denmark last night, misses tonight’s meeting for Northampton 😪

Categorically Poole do not pay inflated wage demands! However what they do offer is regular payment of wages and introduction to a range of local companies that are able to offer a variety of support services, eg, accommodation, transport, workshop facilities and yes some financial support. Plus of course a history of winning trophies - and all within the same team building points as everyone else. Some people on here seem to think that winning meetings/trophies is not entertainment!!🤩

Jeppesen withdrawn from Danish semifinal last ride. Not sure what happened there. https://rs.dmusport.dk/loeb/7413

LEICESTER: Ryan Douglas, Dan Thompson R/R, Nick Morris, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Joe Thompson. SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Anders Rowe, Chris Holder, Leon Flint, Josh Pickering, Jye Etheridge, Nathan Ablitt. Track should be well watered after last nights storm! ⛈️

I come over for the Workington match earlier this year, I won’t be back. The track was horrific, the guy on the tractor looked like he didn’t have a clue what he was doing when they tried to fix turn 1. The meeting went on for ages aswell which made a long day even longer
-
Appreciate it mate, unlike some people on here! Yeah I didn’t go that far I seen it and thought oh christ I hope he’s okay. Anyways, Vinnies back so hopefully we can finally track our 1-7!
-
I don't know. Did he get an established average at Glasgow last year? If so then I presume that would be converted to a Premiership average using the normal rules

Could of been worse half expected Jade Mudgeway to be announced 🤣 .That's me done for the season. Club needs to be asking why fans are leaving early every week with meetings dragging on and overall poor racing on a badly prepared track ,NON paying fans are allowed to watch from the Banking while us mugs pay to watch a mediocre product.
