  1. Past hour
  2. He was trying to fire himself to the front.
  3. The blonde Swede in the crowd the highlight of the meeting so far, no doubt about that.
  4. Ref inconsistent with heat 5 and 6 from gate one with Bewley and Kurtz. Track giving no racing lines and follow the leader from the gate.
  5. WBD is one of the worse things that has happened to speedway. But Latosinski must be the worst thing
  6. Plenty of empty seats on 4th bend and back straight.
  7. And probably Jonas wouldn't have been at reserve so it's all aligned for Oxford just the time for a home win
  8. Just wondering why Kelvin never mentioned that Bewley was the fastest in practice today…
  9. Wow to heat 4! Well done Bewley and Anders! Nice to see a change now and then.
  10. Leicester crowd on Thursday was about double what it usually is... Agree about SGP crowds, they've been terrible all year in every country compared to its heyday
  11. I still think Leicester wasn’t that big for a final if I’m honest but I’m going off Ipswich crowds so I’m probably not rightly comparing crowds 😂 we had a bigger crowd for kings Lynn in a league match 😂. All jokes aside I’m expecting this to not have an empty seat, Sweden wasn’t a great crowd either for a Grand Prix so it’s slightly going backwards in crowd attendance this year do you not think? Anyway… I hope the racing is great!!
  12. Don't post too soon, haven't you learned your lesson from Thursday 😂
  13. Surely it’s a full stadium as it only houses 4,000 at full capacity?!
  14. Interesting tonight if Gate 3 is a graveyard as it was last night (2 wins from 23 races), Zmarzlik, Lebedevs, Lindgren, & Kvech have all drawn it twice. Doyle, Bewley, Kurtz & Holder are among those who have drawn Red or Blue twice. Notable, however that last year Yellow and White both provided more wins than either Blue or Red. Hopefully they've done some work and last night's horrific gate bias towards the inside 2 gates isn't replicated.
  15. Today
  16. BREAKING NEWS: Abi's working hard down in the pits 💪
  17. Fancy Kurtz for this one just gating better than BZ most of the time, think lebedevs and Freddie will be in the mix !
  18. My memory isn't what it once was but I think that when the City Council granted planning permission for the track they decided what the lighting levels should be. Despite there being no residential property near the track. Those involved at the time will no doubt correct me if I am wrong.

  20. As I’ve said on previous posts lights are simply not adequate for spectator entertainment those who disagree must be blind. Stand on 3rd bend and starts of races are so dark. No money in the sport etc but spectators need to see the sport they pay to see. Put 8 lights on the advertising boatd across start line 2 each gate front and back will make huge difference not difficult and get more lighting closer to the track….?
  21. CO will say not enough support, and submit plans for houses instead, even if he miraculously delivers I won't be handing him any of my money after the way the Abbey has been left to rot and be surrounded by houses.
  22. The Ippo muck up is different in that the new line up couldn't be accepted as it was over the limit and therefore in essence the previous was still in place More relevant is perhaps the RS hokey cokey with Jenkins/Foord Foord was declared but reverted on match day which seems to show it is possible up to when a meeting is ridden Next question is whether a facility is granted for Etheridge if he is still struggling by the time of his debut......
  23. How many meetings and teams has he rode in that 4 weeks His mentor or manager is not doing him any favours He needs time great prospect but allready looks to be thinking he's a superstar Hes young and cocky Needs to develop slowly
