I do not know who the rider is, all I know is that the club have asked sponsors how much they can put into the club to try to tempt a GP rider to join
-
It looks like the promoters know and it's them that make the signings.
-
Drew back to berwick aswell hope we can have some good news soon .

Typically classless from you, you may want to consider that these" forum fannies " probably, unlike you, post money across a turnstile and support Berwick Speedway in a very real way. That, IMO, entitles them to their opinion, even if I disagree with it. As for Jye`s comments, he can say want he wants, though he may want to consider he is slagging off those who go to paying his wages. Sometimes if you have nothing decent to say its best to say nothing and do you talking on the track.

Posted on social media by Workington Speedway. This weekend, Tate Zischke has informed the promotion of his desire to ride elsewhere in the 2027 campaign. Despite every effort to retain Tate, we sadly accept his decision to leave the Comets following 3 seasons with the club. Tate joined the side in 2024 and has continually improved season by season, we wish him well for upcoming seasons and future events.

Shame Tates time as a comet has come to an end. He’ll probably be looking to get a team place in Poland next season, and if it is the 2nd division, they mainly race Saturdays so that could be in his thinking too. All the best for the future.

You never changed jobs before? Known of anyone doing an apprenticeship with a company and then leaving? 3 years is a lot more than some clubs would've gotten. -

Remember the winter of discontent in 2010, when Coventry and Peterborough threatened to walk out? After we'd just had a 9-team, 32 meeting, Elite League season. We didn't know what we had... -

Sheffield -V- Belle Vue POF Leg 1 Thursday 8th October

Gotta be honest, thats one hell of an over reaction from you considering some of the stuff I have seen you defend on and off track over the last few years . We get it, you don't like Doyle. For me , there has been no better servant to GB speedway over the past 15 or 20 years. He genuinely gives it his all in every ride , is pure entertainment and a great guy to boot. He was having a rough start to 2026, went to BV and hit form. Anyone who sees it differently is either stirring the pot or a complete thicko and I dont think your the latter. -
He went into the crowd and told the Berwick fans "I hate Berwick and their supporters look like they've been given style tips from Wurzel Gummidge and i'm going back to the Monarchs next season!"

Yeah he has got his confidence back and looks set to go onwards and upwards. Shame he is leaving

Tate announced as moving on for 2027, see to sad him go. If he improves his starts could become a top rider in this league
-
Or has Fricke decided somewhere he's happier is worth the drop in money overall?
-
Thats probably why nothing has been announced then..... Ta
-
But didn’t they choose not to have him in their side this year for financial reasons? Have they got new investment?
-
With the AGM cancelled till god knows when, don't know when we will find out about that
-
Fricke is a GP rider. Seems pretty obvious that is who the opening post is alluding to. No brainer for Fricke to be back at Leicester
-
So has the one over eight rule been scrapped now as wasn't aware it had been.

As Stewart thought Victors average was good at the beginning of last season he's bound to think next season's average is great then a 2 pointer -
Tom is one of those riders that benefits from a busy schedule and riding regularly. Some said he took on too much a couple of seasons ago, but that works for him. When rides dried up abroad this year, his calendar suddenly looked very sparse and that didn’t help him regain his form. His double leg break last winter must also have been a factor, so was him being thrust in to a number 1 berth at Ipswich because of the lateness of the takeover. Everything cobbled together created a doom loop for the lad and he never really got going. I’m 100% convinced though that next year will see a return to form due to these factors no longer being an issue. His average now in the top flight is an attractive one that will see him out of the pressure heat leader positions for somebody who will now benefit from his poor season. Regular Championship fixtures keeping him busy will also benefit him hugely. IF Oxford have secured his services, then they’ve pulled off the Championship signing of the winter and IMO will have the League’s top man in their side.

The opening post suggests another GP rider coming in. Why not recall Fricke?? The new GP rider would be an 8.00 and Fricke would be 8.27. Would absolutely go with the more league experienced guy over someone that most certainly ISN'T going to be one of the GP big guns.
