I’ve heard Northampton are offering 1 million pounds for their number one - per meeting! Could be rubbish but holds about as much water as anything else written on here I guess.🤣 It’s been mentioned on here that Cooper should move to Belle Vue to further his career but if he wants to come it’s for Belle Vue money, the level of which he is use to being at Lynn.
-
File with King, Brennan, Pickering, Masters, and Lidsey, and possibly others.. Strong at No3 with two top level riders above them.. Ryan Douglas made the "leap" last season to become a No1 ride in name and, more importantly, performance...
-
Anders will be North of the border it seems.
-
That would give Ipswich three of the seasons top eight riders in the averages, inc BP.. Not a bad top three at all..
-
I’d have Cairns back. But his average isn’t good value. Anders on a lower average is a better option. Although personally I prefer Cairns

Financial Bubble in Polish Speedway
THE DEAN MACHINE replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
I do agree with all this except one bit, the bit where he says if you brought in the people from the bspl it would be solved in a day or 2, they can’t agree what day it is when you put them in a room together - Today
-
They're also close to matching other clubs with an “eye watering” offer for Cairns. Don’t fall for the “we run on a tight budget” bollocks. They just love to paint themselves as the victorious underdog but they're anything but.
-
Someone has said on the Northampton thread that Musielak is likely going there and I’ve also heard that myself from a good source on here.
-
TBF he never actually named anyone but I agree to an extent that he’s put unnecessary pressure on himself with his comments from the summer onwards. Especially after the Belle Vue meeting when he addressed the fans in the stadium. Let’s wait and see what he comes up with though.
-
Nilsson wouldn’t be a number one. But could be an astute signing. I think it’s going to be Doyle musielak and king as our top 3
-
Wright doesn’t have a Polish contract for 2027……yet.
-
Well I've heard that BV are offering silly money to Coops. Who knows. Could be rubbish but holds about as much water as anything else written on here I guess.
-
I like Richard and really hope he can turn the sport around but if it is Nilsson he would have been better to have kept quite about team plans for next year and just said we will have a stronger team in 2027 within the restrictions of budgets and getting people over. He's kind of built up hopes of Emil/Woryna and if they end up with Nilsson it will be a bit of an own goal.
-
Although he would be welcome we all know he performs better when he's not expected to be the heavy hitting number one.
-
Yep and really should have two world titles as a bad injury robbed him when he was leading in the year prior to becoming world champ.
-
Kim Nilsson is a name ive heard. We’ll see.

Other clubs are also in the mix. Bargain average so not a surprise. I would be surprised if Cairns isn't with us next season, but then this is silly season and anything can happen!
-
Pretty sure Musielak will be at Northampton.
-
I presume they would want to keep possibly five from last season, given they will have built up home track knowledge, whereby other teams will still be unsure as to set ups until more visits .. An out and out No1 would be the target you would have to think to try and protect Heats 13 and 15 better.. Finishing bottom in Speedway is an opportunity not to be missed the following season, and "second season syndrome" can make or break a team as the novelty has worn off and fans have less patience if their team struggles again.. Hopefully a top four team at the very least ..
-
Doyle is very much "old skool" for me... In any era he would be top level simply due to his drive and desire... From UK reserve to World Champ in five years wasn't it?.. No drama, no BS, just 100% commitment to whichever team he rides for... The teams in the UK who get him usually have a very decent season...

All these figures are slightly different from the ones on the BSPL website. Don't know why, nor which will be used for team building purposes. -
Obviously now no GP commitments this year either lightening his schedule which helps.

Doyley is absolutely fine he’s a Foxhall specialist, but we need to see the make up of the league, the points limits for top 5/6 etc. The way the recent article was worded Coleman was talking about A number 1, not necessarily two strong heatleaders. It remains to be seen if any restrictions mean most clubs only go for one top rider instead of two next year. If Belle Vue go for both of Bewley and Kurtz again for example, then Doyle and Danny King at 1 and 5 won’t cut it. We’ll need to get another stronger rider. Let’s not forget that Doyle was having a whinge to Louis for a couple of years that he needed support at the top end and he finally got it with Emil. It was only when Emil joined that we started to seriously challenge for silverware and we won the Cup then the League. As I say though, the make up of the sides was different then so it remains to be seen whether the two under 21 rider rules makes a difference to the strengths of the top 5.
