  1. Past hour
  2. Arry’s got a pis*pot full of ready’s So no fear there.
  3. Probably because it would be the right thing to do for both clubs. Anyway good news in that there appears to be no serious injury .
  4. Don't see why they would do that considering it has gone past H10 and there are rules in place for tied aggregate scores when meetings are abandoned.
  5. Are the rules not as follows? They can promote the team with the guidance of an experienced BSPA member but they cannot vote on anything for two years but must pay there membership fee / bond as others do. I assume the guidance is to help them along and point them in the right direction (ie do as there told and follow the instructions and rules of fellow promoters)
  6. He could be, but they still need an U 24 rider in the 1-5 so he probably will be that rider.
  7. Surely the meeting should be rerun, possibly on Sunday. It wouldn't delay the competition in any way as the final is likely to be at Poole on Oct 22 and either Redcar or Glasgow on Oct 24.
  8. This is the first time that a bike has gone over the safety fence since Redcar opened in 2006, although it is sad someone was injured, it is not possible to plan for every occasion that happens in our sport, signs and warnings are placed around the circuit stating it is a dangerous sport. I hope commonsense prevails in any decision over this incident. To the injured spectators I hope the injuries are not too serious, get well soon.
  9. Would just like to say that the 3rd person that is mentioned took themself to hospital after the meeting. All ok and released soon after. New trousers required, for the rips off the wheel, not what you’re all thinking 😂. Would also like to say a big thank you to Jo(Redcar) and a young lady from Glasgow for attending to the unfortunate gentleman who got hurt. They both gave excellent attention until the paramedics got there & helping the paramedics also. Also well done to all Redcar staff for clearing the area, cordoning off & generally doing what was required. Certainly shook me up seeing it happen, 🤞all is good for everyone.
  10. I did see that, yes. Luckily it didn't reach the track on the other side. I think that's happened at other tracks too, but fortunately not where spectators were standing.
  11. Id say it would be 1 or the other championship or national National league is good entertainment Much closer racing Costs are high in championship and Premiership High costs are killing the sport
  12. Bikes go over the fence now and then but not a common event thankfully Did any one see the bike go over fence at Oulton Park British super bike round couple of weeks back Lot heavier bike and lot higher fence
  13. Hope everyone is ok. Regardless of what decision the clowns at the governing body make, someone will rightly feel injustice. Both teams had a fair chance to qualify. My red and white tinted glasses would say Glasgow were more likely to go through though. Speedy recovery to those that are hurt. Hope the H&S people aren’t too severe. Did Edinburgh have a hard time with them after Cook’s bike went over and hit the photographer(that shouldn’t have been there)?
  14. Today
  15. Thats true, forgot that, probably Jack Smith then who would be a good upgrade on Hodder.
  16. At least lublin won't romp the regular league, not that it matters in the long run as Torun will tell you. I wonder what the highest negative point difference is, reckon Czestochowa could be challenging that.
  17. Both upgrades on Hodder, but I’m sure he won’t want to miss out on the grand final
  18. Both upgrades on Hodder, but I’m sure he won’t want to miss out on the grand final
  19. I did notice the other night, Ace Pijper crashed into the fence on the 4th bend, is there a reason why there is no air fence at that part of the track
  20. The rules have changed for 2026- just 1 U 21 rider now needs to be Polish the other U 21 can be foreign.
  21. You have listed these two riders as being in the reserve positions but they're not Polish?
  22. Yesterday
  23. Gorzow city have agreed to become the guarantor of the loan. The club will receive a licence to operate under for the 2026 season as an Ekstraliga team. Official statements will be released in the coming weeks.
  24. Glasgow only recently uprated their air fence to accommodate the FIM they had last year was it? Might even have been this year, I can’t remember. I deffo saw an interview saying they had to pay thousands to update it to comply with regs, Ipswich would be the same. I’ve heard Chris Louis speak on how expensive the FIM uprated air fences are.
  25. Hopefully, none of the spectators were seriously hurt. It was an awful crash. From what the ref was saying it goes to a ballot. This might change of course with further investigation.
  26. For stox the speedway fence is removed - on that basis for a GP would it be possible to lay a temporary track incorporating some of both circuits to provide a larger speedway track closer to the fans? Whats the issue with the air fence? Isn’t it the case that all UK tracks have to comply with FIM regs?
