  1. Past hour
  2. If it was Testimonial they would have pottered round and took the fans money though.Dont leave the house if there is a cloud in the sky these days.
  3. I do euro mills in the hope of financing the return if R. Lambert. My success rate atm wouldn’t pay for S. Lambert. We live in hope.
  4. Definitely. Great to hear from the Brummies after the meeting too, with a particular shout out to Zagar who managed to drop the f-bomb at least eight times in a 3 minute interview, it was brilliant!
  5. it will be because they cant get a number one not because they dont want one or cant afford one
  6. Well let's hope the 3000 free tickets the Facennas are giving away lead to a bumper crowd and some good racing. It'll be interesting to see how many return if/when the Tigers lose, despite the good racing?!
  7. Also just been informed that if we'd won that BV away fixture when Jan was injured and beaten them at home in April when we had all those engine failures and only lost by two then we'd be going into Monday's meeting with Sheffield with fourth place in our own hands 😩 The fine margins of sport!
  8. Lawson the rider then and build from there but one thing for certain need a number one
  9. Brummies have been bloody good value at Leicester this season... more so than at their own (former) place
  10. If it was Testimonial they would have pottered round and took the fans money though.Dont leave the house if there is a cloud in the sky these days.
  11. The Ben Cook injury and covering for him when he was #5 in the averages was the main issue but it was Kvech getting cleaned up in Gorzow which was the dagger to the heart of Lynn's season. Away wins at BV and Brum went begging as a result and he struggled with his shoulder for a while after. No surprise that we are finishing strongly with the top six all present and fit! As you say what might have been (an all too familiar tale).
  12. I remember going down to Wimbledon in horrible weather and seeing a good meeting, modern day machinery wouldnt be able to handle the conditions, though according to reports there were riders willing to give it a go at Sheffield.
  13. They will go strength in depth again as they think that's best option but I don't believe it is imo
  14. Our riders aren't rich. Just ask our reserves. Most of the money they've invested is on the stadium infrastructure. Also, not sure how helping another team out can be seen as winning at all costs, especially as that team isn't winning anything this year!
  15. Those were the days and it separates the men from the boys. Sawdust, overalls, racing and the track comes good. Today no chance. Wimps the lot and it shows the contempt they have for the punter. Not even willing to give it a try and how many times in years gone by have riders put in some effort to race and then justify calling it off. Today not even a wheel is turned. It sums up why the sport has no credibility.
  16. The feature the last couple of years is they seem to do something to themselves that loses momentum just at the point where they could be contending! oh well onto next year for them!
  17. Not for the first time you can't help wondering what might have been for KL!
  18. Yes but the club nurse called that one off in the end if I remember correctly 😂
  19. The latest from the Stal club referencing the 2026 line up is below: J.Holder A.Thomsen A.Lebedevs O.Fajfer P.Przedpełski J. Krawczyk A. Bednar O.Paluch
  20. Well I enjoyed that Birmingham gave it a good go and 2 late 5-1s give the scoreline a more flatterting look than the efforts of the top 4 for Birmingham deserved!
  21. Its the reason fans dont travel away if there is the slightest doubt about the weather, years ago down went the sawdust on went the overalls and away they went. Nowadays with the modern bikes not a chance of that happening, i cant comment here as i didnt see the track but as some wanted to ride and others didnt i would imagine the referee would go with the majority?
  22. Lawson is so professional in his approach,he deserves the success, just gets on with the job.He weakness of the Leagues compared to a few seasons ago is a bonus for him.
