  1. Past hour
  2. Well apart from Lawson and Cairns they have all had a up and down season, maybe niggling injuries, I know Anders did but rode well tonight, Zach has been riding better for Belle Vue but not tonight, he is now a big worry. Kerr was very good tonight so that is good, even Toby has not been that good lately although pretty good at Plymouth. Hopefully they can all click on the same night in the play offs. Glasgow look like its theirs to lose right now, Leon was very good tonight.
  3. pretty much as expected but worse, doubt ill be going to Sheffield again unless we meet in final. which we wont, never seem to be able to find a good spot to view from. was on middle 3/4 bend where you have stanchions and netting spoiling your view + speakers, but to top it of tonight had about 5 spastic kids on speed blowing whistles all night, did my head in., ill be back when they open the back straight, jack holder rider of the night for me.
  4. 2021 was when RS was introduced, Flint was Wolves RS for 22 & 23 also. Brummies 24. Tigers 25 Born February 2003 so will be 23 when the next season commences.
  5. Well yes, glad to see Hagon named instead of Gusts. So Oxford don't seem to be in a good place right now, but neither do Poole, so it should be a good match up. Just praying that the Pirates can finally get their s..t together and get back to fulfilling their potential. Time for Middleditch to step up and earn his crust, I'm thinking!
  6. Today
  7. Flint has improved, but he has reached his level just his gating has improved and likes big tracks where speed is all that matters .
  8. I still think Zac rides different machinery for BV than he does for Poole. Mind you he did manage that fastest race time around Wimborne Rd this year recently, that was a bit out of the blue. Does that mean he has machinery that you could be using come the sharp end? or am I just dreaming? I wasn't a fan to begin with but Kerr is now critical to future Pirates success this season.
  9. Think his average is too high to be a rising star next season but he will get the 25% average reduction so will be still worth a punt
  10. i believe you have to be 23 & under flint is 22 born in febuary so it looks like he will be a rising star next season as well so a few clubs will be after him ?? that's if there is a premiership ? who knows ?
  11. A better than usual meeting at Owlerton for a change with a handful of decent races. One of the worst tracks for passing usually. Good to see the changes working for the Tigers. Not many teams will fear the Aces over 2 legs, away from home they are basically a 2 man team. Lidsey had one good ride. The rest are pants away from the NSS.
  12. It's tricky deciding how long a rider can be a "rising star" for. Although the age limit has dropped since it started. Many people say the RS are too weak & out of their depth etc. Others say Jenkins & Flint have been RS too long & shouldn't be any more. But once you limit the amount of seasons, you make the standard even weaker, which leads to even more RS out of their depth! I personally think they've got it about right, Flint has come on a lot this season & his average will prevent him being an RS next season.
  13. Looks like an iffy performance from the Premiership form team against one of also rans.
  14. wondering that myself ??? he can't be far off not qaulifying it ??
  15. Genuine question, how many seasons has Leon Flint been rising now?
  16. Agree, good meeting tonight with decent racing. Putting Hagon in ht 14 was a strange call, perhaps Barker feeling his shoulder??
  17. Thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to Iwade. The site is a bit rough round the edges but its a very friendly club with everybody we came across polite and smiling, you don't get that at many speedway venues. The track was kept in pretty good nick on a very warm and breezy day by an interesting 'water cart' although the old blue groove put in an appearance later on. Racing mainly FTG mainly down to the Young Stars' dominance but there were one or two decent heats with Coops getting past the Kent riders in heat 12 the pick. Jordy Loftus looks a real talent and Jody Scott has come on leaps and bounds this year. Thanks to Jason for getting the team over to the back straight to thank the travelling fans after the meeting, looking forward to celebrating the title on Wednesday evening.
  18. Tigers always better Aces over 2 legs... until the playoffs Zishcke & Mulford get 6-7 between them.... don't be silly, Flint & Etheridge won't drop a point to them at NSS.. they may take a point off Rowe... Not sure I've seen him at NSS. Can't remember seeing Morris either.

  20. No about 10! Yes it was and the best was yet to come in heat 12... Rew v Harris was tremendous. Sadly that was the last time the outside line worked because there was nothing out wide in the final 3 heats. Kvech gets passed by Barker in his 3rd ride then comfortably wins heat 13 in the quickest heat of the night.

  22. How did the stars and Lewi get on? Let me know
  23. Don’t know… you have 3 big scoring heat leaders at home and Cook goes well and Blodorn chips in … if the reserves can get 6 or 7 between them then it will be close
