Glasgow, Oxford, Scunthorpe and Plymouth are all racing on July 3,so if you beat Redcar then you've got to hope you get Poole or Berwick/ Workington in the semi. Can't see Scunthorpe beating off Poole and then Oxford but as Glasgow race Plymouth then one must make the semis. Glasgow look to have July 10 free but Edinburgh race Plymouth that night. A co-ordinated approach needs to be made on Reserved dates, possibly having all blanked out in one week.

Edinburgh have the 29th May reserved for a potential home leg of BSN semi, 3rd July for KO Cup semi and 17th July for BSN final on their fixture list so hopefully it is the weeks either side of that that are reserved for all teams progressing in cups, then those that don’t can rearrange any rain offs or other fixtures as required

Never understood announcements like this. Just sounds like a childish "I know something you don't know". Hardly going to get the crowds flocking back to speedway.

Do you know how far ahead of time other sports announce their fixtures? Although the speedway season 'can' start on 15 March it is really into April before the real start now. 6-8 weeks ahead is normal for many other sports leagues. Premier League football is about 8 weeks. Superleague Basketball was less than 1 month this season. The PREM was about 8 weeks. Scottish Premiership about 5 weeks. EFL about 6 weeks. Easy to take an unfounded pop at speedway.

While it is good that clubs have Reserved dates for the BSN and KO Cup finals, it's less clear when the semi finals may be, much less any rain offs.

And don’t tell us but a certain Mr Godfrey will be team manager and he has managed to get concessions from Polish authorities to ride most home matches on a Sunday providing those matches take place between October and March which would work as most teams do not seem to like riding matches in the summer months.
