Foxes vs Witches, Thursday 30th April

Certainly a good experience I thought, in particular considering they had to get it up and running in 5 minutes. 2 points I would firstly make and given we would expect the majority of crowds to be nowhere near the opening night, the view from sort of halfway down to the grass back is naff. Given that if there was a huge crowd, presumably this happens on a big stock car event, you can only see the top of the helmets or nothing at all if you are right at the front. Secondly the lack of karzis on site was a major problem. However I'm sure the promoters will have a list of issues from the first night which I'm sure they will address. -

I will happily pay full price if they get a camera stabiliser (camera work was forgivable) but a commentator who has next to no clue whatās going on not so. The racing at Glasgow is brilliant but I canāt listen to the guy who doesnāt know the names of the home riders ( when did Kevin Peter sign?) or even the team name of the opponents Plymouth Devils. But absolutely the worst part is when he talks over the other guy, who really seems to know how to do the job. -
Iād be very surprised, given a rider like that would come in on an 8.50 average and never be available even if we did.

I'm sure there used to be curfew for afternoon meetings, somewhere around 5:15 if my old memory is still working right. Delaying the start time could cause an issue with this if there are delays during the meeting

I think it stems back to when the local organisers used to be responsible for track prep and ballsed it up on a couple of occasions. With the FIM (fireman Phil) being responsible for it and under their specific control they have nobody else but themselves to blame, if they want to do it that way it'd probably be better to have a recognised track curator travelling with the circus to oversee track prep, Andy Meredith for example. -
No issue just didn't realise the 2.5%reduction for brits was still applicable.thought it was only for team building for start of the season. Live and learn, how long is cook out for mate or has he done one of his disappearing acts?

They should stick with the local track curator who surely knows the circuit the best -

On recent form, the only thing heās in danger of banging in is the air fence. I also hoped to see more from Loftus this season. I would have been delighted if heād signed for Glasgow (though not a fan of poaching), but so far heās not lived up to what I hoped. Both teams need more from their reserves. The weather is looking very grey, but hopefully any wet stuff falls somewhere manky like Maryhill.
