  1. Past hour
  2. 95% of speedways power is in the 2 heads, the head on the engine and the head on the riders shoulders, get those 2 heads right and you have a winner, the only real difference in tuning is head porting, cams and internal parts like valves everything else like crank cases etc are just stock parts
  3. Interesting watching Kurtz at Sheffield on Monday, heat 5 riding the dirt line and was at least quater of a lap infront yet his time was no faster than Carl stonehewer 26 years before and Zack cook’s win in heat 14 was the same time as Chris Morton 47 years ago, so the question is with all the money spent on tuning and engines, is it really worth it ?
  4. 14.10.2026: Güstrow v Wittstock : https://youtu.be/apESy1rktZc?is=FyMbgxbKL8AR1oKG
  5. It'll be a shame if Brennan drops back down to the PL, but you can understand why after this season.
  6. I don't think they are going to tell us (or anyone). Whatever they do is worth an awful lot of money.
  7. Strongly rumoured to have already signed for a Championship team that isn't Oxford. Online rumours about him are like a game of scabby queen...no one seems to want him in their team! I still expect him to be back at Poole though
  8. So, what do these engine tuners do....do they take a standard engine out of the box and work on it, or is it selected pieces fromvaarious sorces..... or something else????
  9. A no brainer .. If you top the league then choose home for the semi first leg, and away for the final, (if you get there)... If you don't reach the final at least you had a decent semi final crowd.. Losing, or winning, an away leg first, by a large margin, just hits the second leg crowd numbers... Great to see two decent crowds for both the final legs... (Again)... I wonder if the promoters ever wonder why nowhere near the same number of their own followers turn up regularly through the season..
  10. I once bumped into Colin Pratt on a rush hour Underground train in London. We developed a very close relationship......
  11. Today
  12. Riss would surely have to be a risk given how the last two years have gone for him health wise. If he’s overcome them then there’s a pretty good rider in there.
  13. This would explain the sudden change that occurred over the last couple of years I have been saying BZ was not at his best ( I appreciate that Kurtz and Lambert are excellent riders)to win last year and almost this year is true testament to what an exceptional talent he is . I am sure many are gleeful at him not winning the title this year and Lambert is a worthy winner no one can blame him for wanting the fastest motors .. One thing I would like to know is whether BZ poor gating a has anything to do with him having to adjust engine setup in an attempt to match the Holloway engines .
  14. Hypothetically if your Aunt had balls she would be your Uncle.
  15. picko jenkins mpt hook brennan ingram someone else
  16. It's not that he won't be bothered, he and his team are so well organised that everything for the following season is in place before the end of the current season. He is always prepared to race here but British Speedway is too late which is the real reason why he has joined British clubs after his overseas commitments have finished. He may make it happen as World Champion but it's going to need everything laid on and some flexibility on clashes.
  17. after heat 15 at poole, if you watch it back you can see him in pain getting off the bike
  18. What a farce speedway will never lose its Micky mouse image. Wonder if the roles we reversed the ref would have made the same decision .The whole thing as left speedway looking very second rate and not looking like a professional sport . Just my opinion
  19. Finally the team that finished top of the league at the end of the season are going to be crowned the champions.Belle Vue have been the most consistent team the whole season.Well done.
  20. That's really annoying, it was an excellent source. Hopefully it comes back at some stage.
  21. Anybody know how many seats there are in the North Grandstand in total? Looks as if there are only a dozen or so left for sale. Must say I'm suprised but delighted. Can't help feeling Rob's point that we should have ridden the home leg against Ipswich first was spot on. Think more would have attended not knowing the likely outcome.
