ekimba 319 Posted June 30, 2014 So this is "elite" speedway with "top" riders ? This is absolute rubbish to watch, if that is what the Eastie track is like someone needs sacked. It's only the state of the track that is providing any, for want of a better word, "Passing". RIP Elite League
KevtheRev 122 Posted June 30, 2014 Since when is it a contact sport?
bigcatdiary 3,165 Posted June 30, 2014 Dreadful meeting, the racings rubbish, the tracks rubbish and the referee is rubbish as well.
MAN ON THE TERRACE 37 Posted June 30, 2014 "Woodward just blamed the state of the track on the stock cars" ....... a stupid comment from woodward as the stock cars race on the concrete track on the outside of the speedway track
ekimba 319 Posted June 30, 2014 Oh my god I will eat my words we just saw a genuine pass, well whatever next ?
speedwayfun 86 Posted June 30, 2014 mickey mouse circuit but there are one or two of these and speedway needs to change them  even abroad I shudder when the commentators say 'this is a tight track and it all depends on the gating' even in GPs - why do they allow these sort of tracks?? tellboy 3,662 Posted June 30, 2014 SKY could not be more biased if they were wearing blue and white scarves. 2 ref decisions both correct but SKY doing their best to prove him wrong. Middleditch just contradicted himself there didn't he.When Darcy goes down he complains he got touched, then heat 10 when there was big contact it's then a contact sport according to Middlo. Why should riders have to go down to get re-runs or anyone excluded

Midland Red 2,383 Posted June 30, 2014 Speedway's a contact sport!  Oh no it's not - it's motor cycle racing  If it's a contact sport, why are people complaining about Nicki Pedersen?!
foreverblue 6,096 Posted June 30, 2014 Ref obviously paid off by dugard, ridiculous decisions
pandorum 1,259 Posted June 30, 2014 Middlo did have a point about #10 though. 'we are not playing table tennis'. Speedway has always been a contact sport. The ref is not making himself popular with SKY

Yet we're happy to have the British GP on a tempory track that is the same size as Eastbourne rather than at a proper race track like Kings Lynn
