Edinburgh V Glasgow (lc) 24/4/15 @7.30pm

Palovaara is virtually guaranteed 7 rides, I doubt Berge or Phillips will get a point between them. Thereafter the only home riders Kozza can get some decent points off are the Germans, and that's about as likely as Nicola Sturgeon becoming Prime Minister. Sedgmen won't be a repeat of Sunday either. Glasgow TR before ht8!

True , Sedgmen cant possibly be as dreadful as he was on Sunday , and I don't see us getting much change out of Masters and Cook . So the reserves race , heat 8 and the ones with the Wolbert/Riss partnership are the ones to focus on , the impressive gating of Serjeant would have been useful . But we'll go with what we have and see if we can sneak a point .

Not really. What was wrong with Friday just gone? Coventry were not riding as it was a GP weekend.

Exactly, plenty of Fridays when Coventry don't ride. Yet more rank fixture planning.

Well after Sundays poor showing we will be looking forward to getting some revenge on money men from the west. The home boys will be at full strength while glasgow will be using a Danny phillips for the best roller in british speedway. Glasgow have changed their riding order again as stew must like a wee mix up now and again.

Edinburgh to dominate and sending the weegies packing back along the M8 with nothing.

Teams for Fridays showdown:

Edinburgh

  1. Craig Cook
  2. Justin Sedgmen
  3. Kevin Wolbert
  4. Erik Riss
  5. Sam Masters
  6. Max Clegg
  7. Rob Branford

Glasgow/man city

  1. Richard Lawson
  2. Dimitri Berge
  3. Aaron Summers
  4. Kozza Smith
  5. Nick Morris
  6. Victor Palovaara
  7. Danny Phillips

Typical.....when so many riders dont seem to be able to make a decent start....... Pick on the Guy working on becoming Britians best gater ... :-)

Suppose we should bend over to the money men these days!

Surely we should ALL be working together it avoid clashes and give the fans a good deal and full teams? One of speedway big issues IMO is a them and us mentality that exists between the GPs and each of the leagues. We all want the same thing at the end of the day, lets work together and make it work better!

We just seem to be making things worse every season with this double up/ double down nonsense, who belongs to who.Just stop ,it there is enough riders to go round if you really want to make it work.

SCB in sensible post shocker ;)

Sadly the way of the world these days seems sod the sport, as long as we are all right.

Too many people fail to grasp that if the sport and other teams fail it ultimately doesnt matter one iota how many fast ones/rider availability preferences your chosen team has, you need someone to ride against and if you are not making it a level-ish competition people will get fed up and find better things to do with their time and money

Exactly. It's not like Tesco needs to till Sainburys. The Dog and Duck wants to see the Crows Nest closed down. As soon as any speedway club closes then the whole sport loses, it might be a tiny, insignificant bit initially but over time....

Given that rain is forecast to arrive around 8 pm, hopefully they will dispense with a parade and start the racing at 7.30 pm sharp.
