Reviresco 708 Posted September 26, 2015 No problem. Steve Boxall set the current TR in July 2013. Track length, I guess, is somewhere between Lakeside and Foxhall and similar to Monmore (264m). https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.3480408,0.7583342,249m/data=!3m1!1e3
magnificentseven 236 Posted September 26, 2015 Rumour is that it isn't the Lakeside EL licence. Maybe Eastbourne's? Whichever it is , this is good news - lets hope it is a sign of a bigger EL for 2016 with more meetings. Wolfie
Starman2006 2,355 Posted September 26, 2015 268 metres Current Track Record 57.5secs Would be the smallist track in the league then. Even smaller than Eastie. 275.
Aces51 2,778 Posted September 26, 2015 Would be the smallist track in the league then. Even smaller than Eastie. 275. Another Starman gem. Earlier posts already make clear that Wolverhampton and Lakeside are smaller. It's not as if there were many posts to read.
proud panther 1,505 Posted September 26, 2015 Is it Kent moving up, or Lakeside using Kent's track ?
Skidder1 7,637 Posted September 26, 2015 Presumably Kent have found the money for a full air fence then!!? ps. Also rumours about Rye House going EL under new promotion.
Dickie Head 247 Posted September 26, 2015 From a purely personal point of view, turning the popemobile right to Sittingbourne rather than left to the northbound Dartford Tunnel on a Friday night would be very welcome.
marko 956 Posted September 26, 2015 Everyone knows the sky deal (which is the be all and end all) is dependent on at least 8 clubs in the EL, whether its by hook or by crook, there will be 8 clubs next year, regardless of whether Lakeside, Coventry or Swindon run or not, purely my opinion. mdmc82 2,878 Posted September 26, 2015 Bit of a surprise as its a big step up from the NL to the EL. Nothing is certain yet as Len has said it's an ambition at the moment but it would be good to see a new team joining

KIRKYLANE 537 Posted September 26, 2015 The stadium manager told me earlier this year that Central Park were hoping to have NL on Mondays and EL on Fridays next season. that was why they applied for planning permission for a later finish on Friday nights and this application was approved.
