MattK 3,447 Posted April 2, 2017 His company have been getting bad press for years regarding unbuilt stadiums! Exactly, it is water off a duck's back to him. He's a bare-faced liar, everyone knows that, but he doesn't seem to care. The idea that we can somehow shame him into building a stadium he doesn't want to build is laughable.

A ORLOV 8,628 Posted April 6, 2017 (edited) In an article in the local paper T Russell admits that we will not be in the "new" stadium this season. At last it is sinking in that Stadia are so full of bull sh#t re the umpteen completion dates. It is unfortunate that speedway are just tenants and have no clout or say but they had the opportunity to buy or build their own stadium when times were good but they did not. http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/15206034._No_new_home_for_Robins_this_season___admits_Russell/?ref=twtrec Edited April 6, 2017 by A ORLOV

This is what someone told me but as we only lease the stadium all it takes is for Stadia uk to pull out of the mongrel racing and not lease the stadium due to health and safety or some rubbish. I sincerely hope that Swindon Speedway and their Supporters get their new Stadium. After all of the promises given, it would be almost criminal if they didn't.
