Reliant Robin 492 Posted March 30, 2016 (edited) Yet Swindon haven't rearranged with Coventry and they have Kaspazak & Bates missing. Bates was almost certain to miss meetings at Blunsdon as he rides for a Thursday PL track, so no real surprise there. Kasprzak missing should have been picked up by the Coventry management and an attempt to switch with someone without clashes made. They should have picked it up in the original draft fixtures. Star Lady 5,400 Posted March 30, 2016 I apologise for casting aspersions on Swindons management. My point is still valid tho, changing fixtures like this is unprofessional.
hagonshocker 1,956 Posted March 31, 2016 Maybe Coventry don't make enough fuss about it. Maybe Coventry realised they were stronger for it?... I apologise for casting aspersions on Swindons management. My point is still valid tho, changing fixtures like this is unprofessional. So what actually is professional about speedway in the uk?

BWitcher 12,453 Posted March 31, 2016 Why are folk blaming Swindon? Poole agreed to the date. Poole then wanted it cancelled. Poole are to blame.
Skidder1 7,637 Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) Exactly as I said in post #73. Although quite why the word 'blame' is used I don't know?! Many are up in arms that tonight's Robins v Bees fixture is going ahead with 3 guests rather than Coventry being 'blamed' for calling it off?! Maybe there's a difference in relationships between the respective promotions?! Edited March 31, 2016 by Skidder1
lisa-colette 6,031 Posted March 31, 2016 I don't get how Coventry or Poole can call off an away meeting, only Swindon can. Maybe Rosco thinks if he does Matt a favour he will get one back!
