Nice easy start given the abject state of Rzeszow this year.

Grigorij Łaguta caught on doping lol. Polish anti-doping agency found melodium in his blood and informedboth PZM and FIM. GKSŻ has instantly suspended Łaguta. He can be banned even for 2 years for such thing. Hahaha.

Tested 11 June, suspended July 7th. Interesting use of the word 'Instantly' which I believe is a mistranslation from the original Polish which correctly translates a\s "at the perfect time to wreck the Russians SWC campaign".

I wonder if this meloduium can actually do him any good to perfom better in a motor sports disciplin. And I wonder if it is appropriate for this sport to promote performance enhancing substances in form of energy drinks such as Red Bull and Monster Energy, which the riders drink at every given opportunity during live TV interviews.

If Laguta is banned for some time, it will be a tough season for his club Rybnik, who are fighting to stay in the Ekstarliga. Very fortunate this for Torún who are currently below Rybnik in the league standings.

As it's on the banned list Laguta has no defence. However, I can't see how Meldonium would enhance the performance of a Speedway rider

It's irrelevant. It's on the banned list and every licenced speedway rider is obliged to adhere to it.

Lets hope there's some rigorous 'random' testing done in Poland today!!! ;-)
