Bearing in mind that the visa application process could not have begun until Holder's ban was finished (as until that time he didn't have an actual job!) the paperwork would have had to be 100% correct! Maybe it wasn't and maybe there was an objection to it - which may be part of the 'stumbling block' referred to in the article. I don't read the Star and don't know why Holder can't get a permit to ride in the UK. He's been riding over here for years and never had a problem. Surely he must of known before he agreed to ride in the UK that this year was a problem. I thought Ford was keeping him on ice on his low average until the new aves come out. Not sure now. As a parent of a British child he can apply for one of these: https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/parent But you don't automatically get that right. You need to put in the application. Unfortunately, the whole visa thing has become extremely complicated since the new rules of 2012, and you need to make sure everything is done correctly.
