semion 2,192 Posted June 6, 2018 (edited) Well When Shovvy gets his teeth into someone.... ( any rider as long as he doesn't ride for Poole) then anything short of hanging isn't justice. Maybe he should look a little closer to home. Blessed are the Cheese makers Edited June 6, 2018 by semion

Blessed are the Cheese makers Nothing against Lambert at all. Just needs to be riding for his British club as he is British. All very well riding abroad but the club of his nationality must come first imo.
semion 2,192 Posted June 6, 2018 (edited) IMHO...Once a deal is made, with whatever Country then the rider should honour that. What about if ya man Woyna was told/asked to do a Polish meeting on a Wednesday his by club and it clashed with a Pirates meet, should he go ? It's only a fact the day before the match when KLS tells you. Until then it's fiction that may well come true.

It isn't Roberts fault if the BSPA then chose Wednesday's. Chapman told him correctly. The agreement between countries was GB priority Monday and Thursday, Sweden Tuesday , Denmark Wednesday, and Poland all the rest. The problem arose because Ford threw his toys out of the pram and threatened to pull out if he didn't get Wednesday, and as usual the rest of them rolled over and let him get his own way. That is totally incorrect as far as MF was concerned. The objectors were 2 of the 3 Thursday tracks from the Championship who threatened to pull out of the league altogether. (No problem for the Sheffield/Leicester owners as if Thursdays were confirmed then Sheffield would have been SGBP and Leicester SGBC). If you want to use the 'toys out of the pram' analogy then look no further than Chris Louis!! Thursdays were more than acceptable to Poole as it is and has always been their official published 'rain-off' day. Mondays and Wednesdays were only proposed to get over the impasse as the Championship clubs stuck together. Edited June 6, 2018 by Skidder1

Already established fixtures would then take precedence over a rearranged fixture. FIM could then impose fines and/or suspensions on rider's and/or clubs. Poole have no problems with riding on Thursdays. Can't blame him for everything.
