Aviator 213 Posted July 19, 2019 Final analysis: 2 teams both riding home and away, over 2 meetings = Poole - 7 league points. Ipswich - 1.......
Aviator 213 Posted July 19, 2019 Gavan was at Poole last night. Sat in the East stand, wearing a pink bobble hat and blowing a referees whistle. Most annoying!!
Baldyman 6,243 Posted July 19, 2019 Ipswich need to up their game if they need to beat Poole over 2 legs in the play offs. Although giving ourselves a decent home track advantage would help.

Although there was an extra pair of hands helping I understand that after all the whinging from the KL team, buster offered to send one of his “experts” down to see how the track was prepared. Apparently he had no adverse comments about how the track was prepared for last nights meeting. So, that’s who the “extra” pair of hands may have been. Aviator 213 Posted July 19, 2019 (edited) I think the “track issues” at Poole should drop off the agenda now that Poole has: 1/ Taken remedial action. 2/ Are using a Bar Grader instead of the cow plop blade. 3/ Had the the track standard “audited” by an independent “expert”. Long may that continue.

Bagpuss 10,781 Posted July 19, 2019 Have better things to do than sift through nineteen pages of garbage but I think both teams will be happy with the outcome, Ipswich’s form has dropped off a bit but plenty of time to regain momentum over the next couple of months before the Play Offs. Poole have coped admirably without Kurtz and I don’t think either team needs to fear anybody in the Play Offs, both capable of winning it if they have luck on their side. Will be interesting to see if another contender can gain momentum over the next 6-8 weeks and come through to win it.

Maths not your strong point? Max points Poole could have scored was 7pts. We only got 3 at Ipswich! So the score is Poole 6pts from 7, Ipswich 1pts from 7.
foreverblue 6,096 Posted July 19, 2019 For some inexplicable reason Lawson who got 14 at Leicester the previous evening was very poor as he was at Foxhall, if he rode like he can and he usually scores well at Poole Ipswich would be more of a threat, King rode well last night but previously not too good so maybe come the play offs and they both rode well we could be in trouble.
