Sheffield vs Belle Vue 30/09/21 POSF 1st leg

Recommended Posts

On the outskirts of Sheffield, been raining steadily, radar looks like it should stop about 5.30-5.45.

Whilst there may be poor communication, fans are experienced enough to know the situation, semi final or not.

There's been a s#!+ load of rain & the track will be a bog pit.

If that doesn't sound to your liking, don't go. If you do go, you can't complain, your choice

That’s a bit harsh, if you’re an Aces fan you would be gutted if you didn’t travel and it was on.

Spot on. It's on until it's off and it will be very wet indeed, you pays your money and takes your choice.

Gut feeling.

Called off after 10 Heats and it's only going to start because the camera's are in town with limited re-staging dates that would work for both parties. (Teams and Eurosport)

Been raining all day so surely the track is going to be gate and go with visibility issues and lots of re-runs.

It’s off and now on Monday not on TV

Well at least Monday is currently forecast to be a dry day, shame it won't be shown on TV but better to have a decent track to race on.

Yes thats true but if its on and the weather dictates its a farce and is only on because of the TV and riders are poodling round unable to race then that twenty quid enterence could have been saved and for those choosing to watch on TV they could feel that was the wiser option than to risk travelling. Good choice to call it off, Monday it is then.

Went to Sheffield for the wtc meeting and it was run in appalling conditions. Who remembers that?

This decision could have been made 2 hours ago, it was quite obviously not going to stop raining any time soon. Feel sorry for any fans that have already set off, especially with the current fuel situation.
