Edinburgh have a mountain to climb in cup but we have not been a poor away team.

One of the worst away teams I saw at Scunthorpe this year. Gave in without a fight. The likes of Berwick, Birmingham, Redcar, Glasgow and Eastbourne all put up a much better fight.  Edinburgh were only better than Kent and Newcastle.

The cup is already decided. Better to get in the play-off final while the weather looks alright.

As a neutral observer I feel reserves may hold the key to the play offs. Basso is some rider to have at reserve. Novak and his clashes are going to be interesting.

Think Glasgow’s strength in-depth is blighted by inconsistency, for me Jensen needs to be more consistent,Poole certainly have the advantage in heat leader strength and Basso looks a prospect.

It’s fully booked , any other suggestions , thanks x

Why not look at Bournemouth far more choice of accommodation and only a short cheap trip on the rattler away from Poole.

Train station in Poole ain't too far from the track

Forecast for Poole looks okay for Wednesday... but not currently okay for Friday.  It would make a great deal of sense to switch over the two meetings at Poole, as the second leg of the cup is a "dead rubber" (Pirates can't lose from a 5-point advantage, given Edinburgh are a poor away team) and if that got rained off on Friday, it wouldn't be as potentially problematic, given the poor weather scheduled also for next Saturday and Sunday.  Get the play-off final in Wednesday while it's possible.

Been saying they should swap them for about a week now! Playoffs should always come before KOC. Time for forecast for Friday to change yet.

There is a travelodge next to the bus station that is handy for the Stadium. Definitely worth a try

Not disputing league is priority. I was at Scunny and it was our worst league performance. You have judged on that one performance. We were poor in 2 play off matches at Ashfield too but scored points at many away tracks.

Picked up a minimum of 1 point 7 times out of 10 on the road, would hardly call that poor away form. What would you call Scunthorpes in that case?

Or Poole could run Wednesday & Thursday if weather is bad for Friday?

Maybe Thursday is Glasgow’s back up day if Tuesday gets called off, and Poole will want to try and keep the 2nd leg at Poole for as long as possible.

Forecast for Poole on Fridays isn’t bad. Risk of a few afternoon showers and a dry evening. Long way off yet though.
