The trouble with speedway is,,, there are still enough fans at some clubs that are happy to be treated like rubbish,, and will gladly turn up every week to be treated that way. Most will even say thank you

More likely cheers for helping us to win the title Robert & but we can't afford to pay you for the last away fixture at king's Lynn

Fans treated with contempt yet again with Belle Vue deciding to field a sub standard side.

Any reason given for Lamberts(R) non appearance. Not that fans will be told the truth.

Sadly people will still turn up and pay to watch any old rubbish whoever can be bothered to turn up and ride. Last we will see of R Lambert in UK speedway.

R. Lambert is a disgrace to British Speedway. Comes back to assist BV to the title then offski. Really not doing himself any favours, spoilt brat. Absolute D Head. Think you’re the dogs, you’re not and never will be.

I agree it's a piss take re Lambert,Belle Vue not wanting to shell out another £5000?

But to say fans will turn out to watch rubbish. This meeting has been a very good watch by the way.Plenty of hard racing and overtaking. The track does look differently to me tonight.

Injury has been cited as the reason Lambert cannot ride. 1) When did injury occur.  2) At what time was it decided he couldn't race.  3) Was a medical certificate produced. All questions that will never be answered honestly and just whitewashed over.

For all you know he could have agreed to just ride in the three Play Off meetings and nothing else, your ire should really be towards the two clubs who quite clearly knew he wasn't going to be there tonight yet kept quiet.

Sorry, don’t agree. Teams announced  - The teams were announced yet no mention of the absence until those that had travelled to see him. No consideration for the paying public. Go live with Tai ya Dosser.

PS - BP I’m not calling you the Dosser.

The surprising bit for me is Zagar is there as well - as for R Lambert the clubs must have known and if it had been announced this afternoon would definitely affected the attendance that’s why it was kept quite. Definitely leaves a sour taste as the season ends but I’m sure all will be forgotten come 2023 and that’s the gamble which was played .
