Baring any injuries we will be there or thereabouts again. The club is run with our fans expecting success and that will never change. Regardless of what the points limit is, we can almost guarantee that opposition clubs will have to raise their bar to compete with the Pirates.

Matt and Danny know the fans won’t accept mediocrity and only once or perhaps twice in Matts tenure did the team completely fail to deliver. The club is not run on good enough. It is run on expecting and demanding 110% and the riders thrive on it.

Not meant to sound as blowing our own trumpet but other clubs need to rise to the challenge. And the more that do so, the better the league and meetings.

There are lot of Poole haters on this forum, but at the end of the the day they run the Club as a business and in a Professional manner. They pay good money and expect full commitment from their riders which they get and the crowd levels stand up well in comparison to most Championship Track. They had the sense to drop down a division when they thought the Premiership was not viable for them.

Well done to them.IMO.

Looking at the averages Lee Complin on a 3.00 looks an absolute steal! Entertaining and I think he would put 2 points on his average no problem in 2023.  Also, if he commits to the championship for a full season Adam Ellis on a 7.13 would be a bargain too, if we have to lose 1 of our top 3, he would be a shoe in for the third HL berth.

I think Lee's average will be 4.00 not 3 due to Newcastle meetings being expunged and not doing 4 home and away to receive a new average.

He has an official average with Plymouth of 3.08 in October - 2.5% British reduction.

I think Ben Cook will be our third heat leader.

That would make sense if points limit is 38. Plus going by his form atm he'd have no problem riding as a HL.

A Poole 2023 thread... sounds like you've already given up on 2022!
