If there is 6 teams play offs with four them is still a bit crazy, why not whoever finishes top goes straight through to the final and then 2nd and 3rd have a two legged semi final?

Sensible from a sporting point of view but not from a business point of view which is what the play offs are really about

Better to finish 2/3 than top as a 50-50 chance of getting an extra 2 bumper crowd meetings

No loss at all if knocked out as still get the 1 extra same as the table toppers

If Peterborough are dropping down then and as stated theres 9 teams in the championship with 16 home 16 away  league matches and 6 in premiership which team is not running   ?

Makes no sense to drop down. No local derbies on bank Holidays, watered down product in the Championship that would see attendances take a hit. Basically no point in Tomlain buying the club just to throw away his own money and run at a big loss.

Pretty sure we're in the Prem and the AGM statement is just being delayed so they can release it on SpeedwayStar day.

Out side the box idea, is it worth while having a Play-Off score advantage?

1st +10

2nd +5

3rd +0

4th +0

The score advantage is only available for the away leg.

Semi-Final 1, 1st (+10) vs 4th (+0)

Semi-Final 2, 2nd.(+5) vs 3rd (+0)

The score advantage then rolls over to the final.

Outside of the outside of the box idea... just give it to Poole :D

Nigel Tolley at Birmingham doesn't seem to have any problems with throwing away his own money and running at a big loss.... Maybe it's a criteria of the BSPL nowadays...

Peterborough are in the Prem.

Delay is nothing to do with Speedway Star.

PL - Some concerns raised about a specific issue needed to be solved re PL.

CL totally different ,and its more change to plans, as will be seen when announcement is made. Word is that all sorted with CL but waiting to announce both tomorrow.

So when they reconvene, the meeting room might be prepared differently to the practice session then? That could catch could catch some promoters out and affect their decision making.

That could be "musical chairs" after their initial tea & biscuits

Glasgow are making the last ditch move to run in the PL with Basso already secured

Makes no sense if Edinburgh are riding next season.

Possibly, after all the monthly meetings at Rugby & the AGM is all about "dotting the i's & crossing the t's", a team(s) has been put together which other promoters are not happy about as they did not think that this scenario could happen hence extra time being required, all in the eyes of self precedence.

Perhaps they're waiting to hear back from the Job Centre about the replacement for Rob Godfrey?

Maybe the 4 Prem clubs with decent race tracks are objecting to yet another that has problems with prep?

Maybe its 'Lets all gang up on the Bates'?;):o:party::nono:
