I personally think we will take it tentatively tonight and only win by 12.

Brennan an odd choice for heat 15.

Don't understand why clubs keep signing Bickley.

Glasgow win the toss and take gates 2 & 4. Really! How many years have we been going there. #WTF

It would seem so on paper…….but no-one knows what discussions are taking place behind the scenes, how the riders feel, how the equipment is, who’s likely to gate best from the gates available etc. etc.   So, it’s not always as simple a choice as it would appear.

Good win that. Great to see Cookie slot back in and riding Armadale almost like he'd never been away. Josh will be frustrated but we know he's better than that normally. Good points haul from Kye and Paco and the other boys did their bit too. Don't fancy our chances on Sunday tbh but good to get the season off to a positive start.

Yeah, that was strange. Claus or Ben were better choices. I’d have taken Claus, after his heat 14 with Harris. They seemed to work well together, and covered the track well… which didn’t happen in heat 15 and Pickering picked off both of them through the middle. That’s was half the evening’s passing, right there.

Kye and Paco looked a good pairing tonight. Hook decent too.

Chris Harris was great to watch, and Vissing was on it too. Marcin was a bit all over the place. One good ride, three duds. Till better than his first time, I guess.

Wish Edinburgh would find a new track soon though, so they can have one with a bit more passing.

Two passes the whole night but they were good to see, Bomber on Josh in Heat 13 and Josh on Bomber in heat 15.

Heat 15 choice was strange, everyone on bend 3 was sure it would be Bomber and Ben/Claus.

Even stranger was putting bomber off one instead of 3 when he likes to "Bomb" from the outside.

Don't think it would've affected the result but maybe would've been able to split cookie and Josh at the end.

Lets see how Sunday goes.

Complin passed Hook for third in heat 12 too.

Thought we let them off the hook tonight to be completely honest. Threw away points a good few times tonight and Josh and Kyle not fully at it. Novak winning at a snails pace and neither lasse or Jacob not even close to landing a blow kind of summed it up.

welcome home Craig cook spectacular tonight looked like he’d never been away fast out the gate and aggressive in the first corner rolling back the years you could say was great to see.

a wins a win but should’ve been more.

For me it wasn't an obvious choice to partner Harris in heat 15. For example put Brennan in heat 14 & he'd have scored 8+1, with Vissing in heat 13 he'd have scored 4+3, ditto swapping Basso & Brennan.

The 3 were of similar standard imo, Brennan just missed out on an easier ride.

I don't think Bickley was really any worse than Hook tbh. He made a mistake in heat 2 touching the tapes & couldn't pass (hardly anyone could) then he loses to Basso & Vissing / Harris / Harris & Vissing over his next 3 rides!

Hook who scored 6, didn't beat any of these riders, and lost to Nowak - who Bickley beat.
