Depends on if you are measuring in UK or Cornish miles. :D.

Hopefully alot of water put on the track, it will get dusty very quickly with the sun and wind on it. Don't get your y fronts in a twist Skidder1 it's only an observation

Don't think it is as windy as last time. Although it is really warm today so will need to watered a lot as you say. Fingers crossed it will be okay as it was good against Oxford on Good Friday.

Just returned from a 12k walk on the Purbeck coast and it’s a very strong easterly wind. I Haven’t seen any racing for the best part of a month so hope this is a good close meeting.

Sitting in the car park at the stadium. Sunny with light cloud. A little breezy. Terry will have the track right this week.

Well done Poole probably enough of a lead we lose by 18 but it doesn’t take a genius to work out where the match was put out of our reach and unfortunately whilst Poole have Newman at reserve and fair play to them for that the same will happen next week it was an improvement on last time but no stupid comments like some might make sometimes you have to say on the night we were beaten by the better team.

Routine win by Pirates who were not firing on all cylinders tonight. Steve Worrall was below par and Lawson didn’t have his usual edge. But other than Barker with two excellent rides, one in heat 15, it was pretty much one way traffic. Track held up well until about heat 11 when it became a little dusty but not so bad as to affect the racing. Plenty of good racing from the Pirates and Barker. Thought Turner had the speed but lacked the experience. Starke was poor as was Howarth compared to past visits. Eighteen point win and enough to progress next Tuesday in the return.

Track was better! :t:Was it heat 9 when Richie against Ben and Zach, that was good! If any Peterborough fans saw that race they'd be watching between their fingers! :D;)

Like to think 18 will be enough but last time at Plymouth we were 16 down half way through so you never know! Would have taken anything 12+ though. JakeTurner looked better on track, just needs to keep it a bit tighter on the bends :t:

If Howarth was poor this time then what was he last time? :o Last season he got 17 at Poole, hard to picture that atm. Sure he'll improve when season gets going a bit.

Well done to both Ben's. Zach was sublime and just think how much better Steve and Kyle would have scored without their bike problems!! Anders only took 3 rides 'cos of his shoulder.

So pleased the Pirate CMAs won't change til July 1st. :D
