12.05.2023 - Scunny v Glasgow BSN Series SF L1

Recommended Posts

Up until track grade that was a brilliant meeting. Bit of everything you want to see in a speedway meeting, well done Scunthorpe.

Great win for the stripes, everyone contributing great to see. Marcin getting to grips with UK tracks too. Great nights entertainment

Glasgow celebrating like they've won the league

Was that correct that Scunthorpe haven't been beaten at home in over a year?

Apparently so... as a Leicester fan though, when I've been up there I've never seen Scunny win at home :D

Good to see Nathan won't be seeing heat 8 and getting flung to the wolves in heat 11 again this season, going to do his average wonder's.

Just seemed a bit OTT for a win in the mickey mouse cup, still, they seem to have a good team spirit going

As long as they see the job through and didn't motivate Scunny by overdoing it!

Perhaps they themselves were motivated by Mr Peasley's posts earlier in the week :D

Thank God this was only a Mickey Mouse competition that no one will remember at the end of the season, seems that Scunny want 4 new signings, Jake Allen was a complete embarrassment struggling to beat young Pjiper, Toft wasn’t much better and words can’t describe the ridiculous 2 new signings but having said all that congratulations to Glasgow on their win with all their riders attacking the track.

It wasn't the mickey mouse cup that's between a Leicester select & a Poole select at some point this season.

Merely went round to thank the Glasgow fans for their support away from home.

Seems like Scunny have thrown away their season with these 2 new signings.

Pity they didn't show the same enthusiasm for the Jubilee Trophy last year... Glasgow shouldn't even be in the competition this year!
