Saw this on the Ipswich thread. If Erik still has blurred vision should he really be riding? You wouldn't be allowed to drive on the road like that.

Definitely shouldn't be allowed to ride.

If the SCB are worried about possible litigation if an accident takes place in a meeting run by another governing body on a homologated SCB track

Then they shouldn't be letting a rider with double vision be riding.

Nothing against Erik Riss or either of his teams, if there was a crash and someone got seriously hurt, we all know what will hit the fan.

TBH other riders, of both teams involved  should refuse to go to the tapes if he's in the race.

With him openly admitting he still has blurred vision decision should be taken out of his hands till medically cleared.

Hmm, looks like the article has been edited? As doesn't say blurred vision anymore? Just says not 100%?

Do you really think Erik would ride if he didn’t think he was right.I don’t.

It still says he has blurry vision in the German section  of the article on his website. Whoever decided to change the English should have done the German bit too! Cos I will translate it and have screen shotted it this time too!

So if it’s in print , it must be true ???

like some of the rubbish we see on this forum. ?

what was actually said, then interpreted, then printed, is quite often a long way off what was meant.

If he wasn’t right, he would not be riding, that’s why he took so long off. He certainly didn’t look dangerous whilst scoring paid 13 last week.

Should Lawson be riding then if he's still not 100% fit? Surely any injury could be classed as a rider not in full control of his bike.

You would be surprised wot riders ride with when they shouldn't.

I was shocked how Craig Cook has ridden when reporting mental health issues.
