I'm well accustomed to senior moments myself.

Its farcical as usual, riders getting to just do as they please as usual. We need to go back to basics.Ban them for missing meetings, the Poles would do it.Give them the choice us or them and let’s get some credibility back into the sport in GB.They won’t be missed.IMO. lower standard maybe but it will not be any less exciting on most occasions.

I don't disagree with you but riders hold the power now and it seems the BSPL is scared to do anything about it.

This meeting used to be a big meeting to win in the second tier of British Speedway, now it seems the riders will chase the money in Poland or where ever.

They hardly get paid a penny for these shared events, and it’s the Polish play offs. If you want them all to be there, at least host it on a Friday or Saturday and not a Sunday

Yet another showpiece event being devalued by the BSPL, started last year by holding it on a Wednesday night in Poole and now this year with even the defending champion unable to be there. Why is it being held so early? Always used to be mid September

Perhaps trying to ensure all possible dates available for play offs and finals....

More to the point... anybody know what the rider rates are for this? As this will determine how many riders pull out with "injuries"

What is the maximum weight expected to be of any rider with ambition to win it?

Hopefully the real lineup will be released soon so people aren't getting the wool pulled over their eyes and can make the decisions about whether to travel or not.
