Panthers vs Lions - Thursday 7th September

Recommended Posts

Artem Laguta has declared himself fit for this huge match. Leicester Lions need to score 34 points in order to qualify for the play-offs.

Ipswich will be hoping for a dominant Panthers victory. I am sure that some of their supporters will be making a trip to the Showground.

Panthers

1. Artem Laguta

2. Chris Harris

3. Vadim Tarasenko

4. Benjamin Basso

5. Niels Kristian Iversen

6. Benjamin Cook

7. Jordan Jenkins

Lions

1. Max Fricke

2. Justin Sedgmen

3. Lewis Kerr

4. Richie Worrall - R/R

5. Richard Lawson

6. Jake Allen

7. Drew Kemp

My prediction is a victory for the Panthers, somewhere in the region of 60-30.

If the Lions show the spirit from Monday they will easily score the 34 points needed

Any Leicester or Peterborough supporters not attending this meeting or watching on BSN can listen to live commentary on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, this is available also on BBC Sounds.

I hope they’ve got the water bowser for the sprayer topped up tonight, I noticed Ben Basso had a puncture at the end of the last race on Monday.

Panthers 53-37 Lions

Panthers win but it'll be close as most of the Leicester riders go well around Peterborough

This Panthers team is ridiculously strong.

It would win the Polish Ekstraliga.

60-30 is being generous.

You should have a drugs test because whatever you are on is a lot stronger than anything any of the riders who have failed tests may have had in their systems.
