So start the meeting at 6.30pm when it's already cold and damp and then run another meeting afterwards..?? Sheer madness but speedway all over.

We'll get a few posters off here (not you or me of course) and there will plenty of hot air It would be funny if it wasn't so serious Edited October 22, 2023 by False dawn

Teromaafan 586 Posted October 22, 2023 When the Cubs eventually get the fixtures completed, they will most likely be celebrating (fingers crossed) by spraying each other with mulled wine rather than champagne!
old bob at herne bay 828 Posted October 23, 2023 Seem to remember this Leicester track is very boggy, poorly drained and caused fixture pile ups last season. Now trying to run double headers in early winter , with fans freezing their **** off. RIDICULOUS. Now we have fixture pile ups in the NDL, which has only a handful of clubs , some of whom don't even take part in the KO Cup. One cannot see this league surviving another season. Oxford have been warned that by waiting until 31st October that if the meeting gets cancelled due to weather then the result will be taken just from the away leg at Leicester. SCB wanted the meeting to take place today or Thursday but Oxford have decided to wait If both meetings get cancelled due to the weather then it will be decided upon final league position

The fixture pile up in NDL is on the same level as Championship like you say ridiculous.

But Oxford run there's on Halloween does that leg then become winner takes all ?

Yes that is my understanding if Leicester is off Saturday,Sunday & Monday but Oxford goes ahead it will be a winner takes all final . The same applies to the KO Cup if that does not get completed at the weekend it will be awarded just on the 1st leg at Mildenhall

ruckerroo 792 Posted October 25, 2023 Its laughably badly run . Leicester cant get a track fit for purpose from mid sept despite chucking bundles at it. They should bite the bullet and try to find a venue too accomodate them really.
