topaz325 1,859 Posted March 30 The Comets are against local rivals Berwick Bandits in Workington's first meeting of the season after the Ben Fund fell foul of the weather. Hopefully it will be dry and the racing will be good , oh and a home win too.
auntie doris 2,345 Posted March 30 (edited) What sort of crowds do the Comets get now? used to love the Saturday nights at DP when I lived up there 2004/5, Stoney and Steady, crowds of 1200. Whereabouts is new track, must try and get up there this year. Good luck for the season, great to see them back. Edited March 30 by auntie doris

The track is on the site of the old Northside training track and is around a 30 minute walk from the town centre .

The crowd guess was for development league racing last year, 1st time back in the championship since 2018 the H18TORY season, so will have to see what type of crowds come to the GT Tyres northside arena

Nothing on their official website, not even a match report from last night, that’s poor especially as the gate opens at 1pm for the second leg
