You’re missing the point. Speedway lives and dies on entertainment; Poole are starving the sport of that while they fill their trophy cabinet. I was vocal about recommending a Poole meeting to two colleagues from Bournemouth last season and unsurprisingly, they haven’t been back. This has absolutely nothing to do with Poole’s support or their annual revenue.

Well done, spot on, and there I was thinking the Tigers might have given the Pirates a fright! Apart from Bomber and to a lesser extent Flint. Glasgow were pretty woeful. Hagon didn't score a point and never looked like scoring a point. Hodder and Smith didn't beat a Poole rider between them, but it was great to see the two Poole youngsters strutting their stuff also Luke Harrison never giving up. Glasgow have always had a good team, but to be in with a chance of the playoffs, they might need to make a change.
