I’m not arguing your general point. All I am saying is the money that will come into the town on match days isn’t to be sniffed at & the money those bars will generate today & indeed over the weekend is significant.  

Think we’re way too past that now unfortunately. I’m checking out at just about the right time.

I am hoping to steam this - having been able to load the site with no issues a few hours ago - it doesn’t seem to load now - so jobless this improves with meet 30 minutes or so I will probably give up! Shame as they will lose my £15 and I will not see the meeting!

Absolutely NOTHING like it used to be let’s be real here. Some of these have now actually closed and only open on match days. The Town is a complete sh!thole that is a pale shadow of its old self, pure and simple. It won’t just be our town either, plenty just like it up and down the country. If you want a nice night out, go a bit further out to Woodbridge where it’s still relatively civilised and hasn’t been “diversified” yet.
