On TV looked like Allitt trying to stop folk flying out of the pits getting to the riders.6 points

I can understand their disappointing Jorgensen did absolutely nothing wrong, bit pathetic from Etheridge there.5 points

Who on earth can tolerate that screeching woman center green announcer?5 points

Maybe it has something to do with him having an operation on his injured hand which he was very reluctant to shake with supporters after Sunday's meeting.5 points

While I am not a fan of guests and it has got Totaly out of hand,I don't see why you can't have one for any team member that is injured up to their average.Especially when you can have one for you highest average reserve.4 points

Best of luck to Kings Lynn, totally turned their season round , finished top of the table and rightly deserve their place in the Final . And of course slightly biased as you have one of our own in the team Mr Proctor4 points

Don't need too. Tai is the best ever. An outstanding role model for the youth of today, who even in the face of adversity and losing a parent at a relatively young age and having failed spectacularly at the first attempt knuckled down, set goals, battled through injury and became World Champion. Hopefully soon to be Britain's first ever three time World Champion. Not only that but raised hundreds of thousands for charity, always has time for fans for photos/autographs and has matured immensely.4 points

Well done Lynn. 2 feet in the final. Deserved place Allit what a twit, etheridge had no right to moan but what Allit did was disgraceful. It was simply words between mechanic and rider but he waged in grabbed James by the throat and launched him into fence. Then he was twerping on till after heat 15 arguing with people. Except for fricke and etheridge that was embarrassing. Clear out needed3 points

As I said on another topic, you won't have a better chance. If every Belle Vue rider rides to their current home average we could score 50. Unfortunately, it's rare that every rider achieves that on the same night, those averages include points scored against teams much weaker than the Stars and the NSS is a track where King's Lynn have done particularly well. Even so, I'm not giving up hope. One or two Stars riders could have a poor night and one or two Aces could have above average nights, that's the beauty of speedway but the odds are stacked against us. I hope lots of Lynn fans have made the journey, that the racing lives up to expectations, that there are no injuries and that the best team on the night wins.3 points

Totally agree that everybody should start on a 3.00 but move up the team quicker. The problem with making a small number of meetings get a new average is somebody good can have a bad couple of meeting and drop to reserve when that is not their ability. So I suggest using 4 meetings in all competitions to get a new average for assessed riders and 8 new meetings in all competitions for everyone else! That will also stop clubs using unattached 3.00 superstars in the POs, NLKOC & NT.3 points

Palm Toft needs to be given 6/7 rides tonight at the expense of Riss, Jorgensen and Procter at this rate.2 points

why the hell do people just assume its anything to do with commitment? - (don't think you will find a more committed rider at present) when you find out you will regret saying that - why do people have to speculate and assume the worst of people?2 points

If Lynn don’t come away with a win or as close as Poole got to Somerset last week they don’t deserve to be in the final. A massive open goal for them and they really should be thinking tonight will be job done to make next week a formality. Good luck to both teams. Hope BV do enough to make next week interesting.2 points

at least craig tweeted he will be in the pits which is good2 points

Your spot on, Craig is a leader of the team and you can't replace his passion for riding for the Aces. As for the playoffs they are without doubt the best way for Speedway.2 points

There were no 'known' physical victims of 'his' per se. What was meant was when you are sharing such vile photos, those photos are of physical victims. As I said when this first broke, the stuff that seems to have made the headlines was him photoing/videoing people urinating.. That's weird/sick/depraved but whatever. However, having pictures of babies being abused there is quite simply absolutely no excuse for and the punishment should be far more severe.2 points

We are over-sensitive at the minute, not surprising the amount of flack we copping on this forum for fixtures, behind the scenes scenario's....a lot of people hell bent posting negative comments ..I agree, it was always going to be difficult to get fixtures in at the business end of the season . Why the KOC with Edinburgh has to be this weekend is beyond me, averages change 1st October , Dan will drop from our top 3 so r/r comes into play , can only imagine it was agreed weeks ago when the fixtures were to be held. Peterborough will still be racing Lakeside come Xmas at this rate, another rain-off yesterday2 points

We were talking about the impending loss of Derwent Park stadium.... which hosts both speedway and RL......if you don't like it don't read it. Thanks2 points

Perhaps just need to wait and see 1) if its true 2) the reason Then everyone can give a valid opinion on the facts rather than just speculation No doubt Neil will inform and explain when the time is right and he is able to2 points

Or if they leave early they not signed the year after... either by clubs or visa not being reissued2 points

Disappointing but with the general apathy it is not surprising. However they could have filled the gaps in the calendar with NL riders for individual meetings or a local 3TT using NL riders representing KL, IP and Mildenhall or perhaps have a final meeting that was a mixed race night with speedway, short track and sidecars. I guess that the promotion simply cannot be bothered to make the effort and similarly, riders cannot be bothered to turn out. I still wonder why did they not enter a team in the NL trophy as did Cradley Heath given that they would have known at the back end of last year how few home meetings they would be running. Perhaps even CL has given up on it now. Whatever the real reason it demonstrates scant regard for the supporters. How many will bother buying season tickets next year?2 points

That's them, couldn't remember the name, I was thinking South of France region because of Catalans? Well this thread is about Derwent Park and RL does take place there!!2 points

I enjoy car and bike racing but having been to both on circuits and ovals would always choose Stock Cars and Speedway over anything the places like Brands Hatch and Silverstone can dish up. The fact that on an Oval you can see all of the race but on a circuit the race flashes past every however long they take to do a lap is a big factor for me.2 points

After some of the crap that has been served up track wise over the years and also recently, shouldn't be an issue. They make the rules up as they go along as regards qualification and reserves, so they could do the same with the track2 points
-
That's got to be a joke? If it's not a joke then it is one now. Speedway should get itself a slot at the comedy festival. Surely the only thing that can happen is a ban starting next season. It shouldn't be allowed to happen.2 points

Apparently nothing is broken, which looking at that picture, is a minor miracle.2 points

To the Geordies. As your season is over may I suggest you forget about speedway for a while (much like your number 1 seems to have done already), and get behind your football team instead. Maybe you could get them to start attacking for a start, and you might see them score before Christmas. To the Comet negative posters. If you cant say anything positive now with your team having the year it is having, just don't bother saying anything at all!2 points

Always liked to have my twopence worth, To me those Wembley finals where always special. every third year, we never missed one from 55 onwards. It wasn't that the track was great, or the racing being top notch, but the atmosphere and the crowd always made it special. Every race had an angle to it, the World title was up for grabs. The Buzz around the place made it an event that will never be bettered... The SGP's are a different animal, yes, I enjoy them but feel they become much of a muchness. I would never miss a Wembley Final, but I've missed two rounds this year already.. They don't have the same cut and thrust approach as the single final did and most riders will adapt it'll do attitude, knowing its points that count at the end of the day. Its a pity the FIM cant accommodate both, with a single final being held at the end of the year . As for the best British Rider of all time, Woffy is as good as any I've seen. Being a die-hard Lee supporter, its hurts to admit that Woffy is that good. Its difficult to compare riders from different era's , but what make Woffy so special, is he is the only British rider able to compete with the top riders in the world... I'm hoping Lambert will progress to that stage in the near future. ....2 points

You are right watching two great meeting's in the last fortnight has showed me the product is still there. What i find strange is that most of the promoters dont listen and try to give the customer what they want.Where i live there is a local shop that was took over 2 years ago if you ask the owner now that you want a pacific product he will get it in for you that is forward thinking customer service.Speedway does not deliver the basics it is falling behind and now even diehard fans who get used to the habit of not going even they are hard to entice back regularly, they pick and choose there meeting's.2 points
