He's only posting about Poole riders on a Poole thread. Quite right too imo. Bore off yourself!!9 points

How dare you compare it to the "good ol' days"!!! Your sort just won't admit it was absolutely perfect back then! Immaculate starting procedures with nobody ever needing a 2-minute warning, the noise, the smell, capacity crowds every night, incredible racing with 20+ passes on every lap, riders staying with the same teams for 30 years, and every British rider was so much better than that Aussie Tia Wofflebottom (or whatever his ruddy name is)... IMHO, Companies who sponsor a club should have their Logo around the track and other viewable places where Jo public will see the companies name, brand etc. Companies that sponsor riders should get their logos etc on the rider and or macinenary they sponsor. end of.4 points

Darcey probably thought he was going to play 'Jack the Lad' throughout his career, picking up a few world titles along the way, while putting two fingers up to anyone and everyone. Problem is fate got in the way. The real disturbing aspect of the tweet is that because he's not in a position to do NIkki harm he is, perhaps, suggesting that someone else ought to do it. Someone who Darcey would regard has having the balls to do it, like Darcey himself has and would, hence the little black book.4 points

That's great. Shame the Wolves promotion don't share it on the official site. #mushroommanagement Again!3 points

Such a shame to read this post. I had the same experience. A very nice stadium ruined by the track.3 points

Great result for the Bears !! Great to put one over our North-East rivals, not something that happens very often at Brough , well done Ben and the lads !! Bears have sharper claws this season .2 points

No .everything was better in the old days .how long have you been on this forum2 points

Can't see why people should be getting so paranoid about this. Birmingham's track was laid down from scratch in 8 days in 2007. Swindon only have one bend to re-shape so I can see no reason why the track shouldn't be ready and bedded in, for the start of the season.2 points

cos it's late and, lots of people are in bed ?1 point

It was the same at Foxhall on Thursday, white and yellow both looked the same to me.1 point

Decent first home meeting in the shield . Good win against a spirited Scunthorpe team who had 8 heat winners to our 7. The special K s were good value. King Kennedy and Kemp Better racing than last week on a race track . Think we will get better with more meetings.Kemp and Kennedy were really good on their debuts and it shouldn't make too much difference when they swap positions.Great start to the campaign and once Andersson and Proctor get their partnership together we should be formidable.. Score line should have been bigger but for our bad luck but a win is a win.Well done to all the team. Great interviews in the bar after which is a good idea .1 point

The original old 13 heat format. No that brings back some happy memories!1 point

Love it. A Leicester fan predicting a Scunthorpe win and a Scunthorpe fan predicting a Leicester win. Priceless1 point

Hope the lack of passing last night was to your satisfaction lol the track was in excellent shape1 point

The starts were terrible in the good old days. The galloping Mauger was a master of rolling into the tapes to anticipate the start.1 point

Thought the conspiracy theorists might have picked up on this... Comets on ice for a year gets the council out of a hole pitch wise doesn't it... And ya man the leader won't answer his phone or any emails or text messages... Then the Vanity Project on that new stadium the one no one wants or can afford to run, the whole thing stinks to high heaven... Regards THJ1 point

Whoever has signed Gomolski looks like they have a rider in form. Absolutely ripping it up today from the back in a Polish league meeting.1 point

I agree that Trackrat goes a bit OTT (even though ive been accused of being him lol) But i like the way you still think it all jealousy1 point

Not quite sure what the point is meant to be here, actually Aaron looked very impressive last night and will do his very best for Peterborough, remember he`s only there short term so those who aren`t happy with him in the team wont have to be un-happy for long.1 point

Sounded as though it was not Ged bailing out, more a case of being shown the exit door and being given a push to ensure he went through it.1 point

It didn't look down by a great deal. Understandable though as the previous week was the first match of the season and against Ipswich who are in the higher league.....also Chris Harris riding seems to pull a few extra fans in. (Fliss loves him so she was there) But to be serious I'm pretty sure there will be even less each week if the racing doesn't improve so hopefully it will. Agree about the lighting as it's always been awful and it's now worse by the stupid change to Yellow helmet colours which are difficult to tell apart from White. I don't know what colour Scott was wearing either because it certainly wasn't Blue.1 point

This is where speedway promotions (not just Wolves) just do themselves no favours whatsoever. There's been stories of Morris having a possible broken scaphoid doing the rounds for the last 24 hours. Word from the official site on the situation, there was none. Now it may well be that it can't be reported one way or the other as if, for instance, he has broken it, they'll need to wait for the swelling to go down to confirm. But for God's sake a few lines on the OS explaining the situation 'he's going for x-rays tomorrow/he's ok' would be fine. It's almost as though they take some kind of perverse pleasure in keeping people in the dark. They've never come to terms with this interweb thingy.1 point

Whether by omission or commission Panthers fans have been shafted . Last Fridays eulogising over the new management team is now looking misplaced to say the least1 point

How much longer is all this chuntering going to go on for, getting very boring....... Bit like BREXIT. Well done to our new signing Aaron Summers tonight. Looking forward to seeing the 7 bearded wonders on Monday.1 point

What I find hilarious is that if any of the experts on the BSF had the balls to get out on a speedway track and race, you tell me that they wouldn't be looking to get the most out of the track in order to get a good start??? "Oh no, I'll just sit here doing nothing, and just hope everyone else misses the gate! I don't want to p*ss off anybody on the BSF..." Steve1 point

Well, thats good to see that, even back in the day the tobacco companies were doing their best to clean up their mess1 point

Besides the tractor, water bowser, and several containers - there's an orange coloured transit van...it seems hemmed in by all the aforementioned, tried to have a look see what reg it was but grass didn't help ( or specsavers could have). The home side of the pits are full of rubbish too.1 point

Apart from the result, this was a cracking meeting with some brilliant racing on a good slick track in front of a large crowd with the usual contingent of away supporters. Thought we were in for a good stuffing early on but, like another meeting here a couple pf years ago, the Diamonds suddenly turned it around and after a 14 point deficit, the Diamonds got with in 8 points only to lose heat 15 with a 5-1 against. A 12 point defeat was actually decent given the dominance of the Bears in the early 7 heats. In the junior meeting, there was some great racing and good performances from Dicken, Josh , Archie and Danny who was flying. Unlucky start for Sheldon with a dodgy clutch, but he will on song next time out I am sure. Some terrific overtaking at this junior level. Nice to renew our friendships with our usual Bears fans and ChrisHT, who made me and Alan very welcome once again. Thanks for your best wishes. Very impressed at many things last night, a good atmosphere with the fans, great racing, stadium improvements, good even paced meeting and a complete rethink to revitalise the programme and content. The whole evening was a great advert for speedway, with 2 sides who will give a good show everywhere I think. Massive parking, and queues at the turnstiles, even had some pies and peas left when I got there. NB Forgot to mention the fine form of Jordan Stewart. Very hit and miss last year IMO, but if he can continue this form he could prove to be very hard to beat.1 point

I got on really well with Peter and still do, every time he is back and we bump into each other, we speak for ages. It seems you have a grief with someone?1 point

I beg to differ, we had a good side, but its looking dire now. Replacing a number one with a number seven spells disaster ....1 point

Technology and silencers caused more problems than the shape of the track. IMHO.1 point

My track (Oxford) closed in 2007, so you have my sympathies. I go to Scunthorpe most Fridays during the season. Very friendly lot up there - you'd be very welcome.1 point

So you have a reserve that's flying on the night,,, don't put him up for a pick,, it's then chosen the under performing rider goes in 14,,,goes though tapes,, replaced by flying reserve. Can flying reserve also do heat 15 as wasn't original pick for 141 point
