no point arguing who the best is, just be thankful we have Iversen, Cook, Pedersen, Crump, Doyle etc in this country4 points

I can’t believe anyone could make an argument for Cook over Iversen. Cook isn’t even in the same ball park. Cook will never achieve the level that Iversen is still at. Ive never seen Iversen as a genuine title contender but someone who has ridden at that level for many a year and qualifying of right has to have earned the right to be classed as a genuine GP standard rider. Before anyone says Cook qualified as of right in his only season in the GP’s he got in thru the back door because Dudek had already qualified. Cook is a decent 2nd heat leader in the top flight in the Premiership, totally unproven anywhere else. Unlike Iversen.3 points

In fairness I don't think it was you that tried to make it into a Cook /Iversen debate , I may have contributed but only after others and one in particular responded. On a personal note I will always have the greatest respect for Iversen as a top rider, top bloke and anyone that passes dirty Nicki at Cardiff has my admiration.2 points

I didn't mention their respective levels 10 years ago but Iversen is younger and hasn't been out of the sport for many years so in my opinion I would expect Iversen to be at a better level now. I hope Crump does well, he was a superstar of the sport. Cook has never been anything close to Iversen's level and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.2 points

Even still now the shock of Danny's untimely passing is hard to take in. Danny had some inner demons that lead him to take this course. My feelings now are that as a sport we need to honour Danny in the best possible way. Everyone involved in the sport needs to feel that they have someone they can go to when they're going through what Danny was. Whether it's an expert in this field or just a friendly face or someone they can talk to it needs to be done in Danny's honour. #BeKind2 points

There will be a designated area outside for wheelchair users arranged by the stadium as well as the facilities in the Panorama room and restaurant2 points

It’s not just about gating though, Lynn has been a track with a unique surface and a huge amount of grip and it took him a while to get used to riding it every week as it does many riders, I believe he averaged over eight both home and away which isn’t too bad at all. Seems the track will be slicker this coming season which can only benefit the likes of him and Hartel and hopefully the standard of racing which badly needs to improve.1 point

The stadium has a big car park £1 a car, and you need to bring your own chairs. In March I would strongly advise you wrap up warm, because it can be absolutely freezing that time of year.1 point

As far as Cook is concerned I think his better years have been at Belle Vue but as he is a gater he should have done well at Kings Lynn but has underachieved in my opinion. As for Iversen anyone who has qualified for the gp's and is good enough for a rostrum position has to respected and i think he will have a good season, maybe even improve his average a little.1 point

You know that sentence makes no sense! If ' i know nothing' then I must know something! Maybe next time use ' I don't know anything'.1 point

I really didn't mean for this to turn into a Cook v Iversen debate, my original point merely was that we’ve probably seen the best of Puk over the last decade and that Cook did well for us last year so probably deserves another go. There are other variables too, Niels is going to be extremely busy this year and perhaps Lynn would prefer a rider with fewer commitments abroad. I would imagine if Lynn wanted Puk then he would be there but it would be difficult to fit him, Cook and Robert into the same side so perhaps they decided the top two from last year were a better bet. You certainly can’t compare Iversen and Cook’s achievements on the world stage or in foreign leagues but perhaps in the Premiership which I’d have thought must be Puk’s lowest priority Cook might be the right choice for King’s Lynn for 2020.1 point

I would have thought the ‘showroom’ BMR constructed next to the old stand would be more suited to a gym.1 point

I didn't mention Crump, the comparison was with Cook but I would rather have Iversen than Crump at this stage of their careers.1 point

Iversen never achieved anything like what Crump did, which one would you rather have ? Time stands still for no man1 point

Cook did well but i would back Iversen to beat him in most races, Cook never achieved what Iversen has and although he may not be as good as he was he still has a lot to offer and almost unbeatable at home.1 point

Speedway returns to a famous old venue in Central California. After a gap of 43 years a motorcycle speedway meeting will again be staegd at Bakersfield ! It's the first annual Digger Helm Speedway Classic on Saturday, March 14th, in memory of the former promoter of the Bakersfield track.1 point

From correspondence I have had with the club either unintentionally or deliberately they fail to understand the basic concept of Blue Badges IE holders are unable to walk very far. Typical of their attitude was when I was asked to explain why Blue Badge Holders going to Speedway should expect different treatment to those attending any other event at EOES. Whilst normal Blue Badge parking may be acceptable for events at Arena , which is a short distance from entrance they certainly are not for the Speedway, Of course, they will never give in and argue black is white till the cows come home even if they realise they have got it wrong.1 point

No chance, as long ago as the 70's the ACU tried to do this in MX with the AMCA and it was put through the courts where the ACU lost. We've seen it in Speedway where riders were told that practicing at a track would see their licence revoked, that didn't happen either. The BSPA/ SCB might make the threats but it'll never be enforced because they risk the whole house of cards collapsing if people start looking too closely at the way riders are employed.1 point

Can we please have a reality check here. Do you think fans of Hackney, Cradley, Coventry, Reading, Workington etc etc would say "If you don't provide covered seating I am not going" I think they might say its a shame they haven't build facilities like Belle Vue but I HAVE MY TEAM BACK AND IM MIGHTY LUCKY. Please we are at a delicate stage and Im sure messages such as on here are read by interested parties, but if you feel so strongly about certain issues Im sure the landlord/Promotor will be very happy for you to put your hand in your own pocket and pay for them yourselves if you wont or cant, then please support those who are.1 point

Jamie Swales was announced as new co-promoter. Certainly no stranger at Redcar, and currently oversees the Northern Junior League. A good appointment I think - and certainly good news for the Cubs I would imagine.1 point

Probably going to be way, way, way off with my predictions as I am not the most familiar with this league. So I am using averages as a massive guide. 1. Scunthorpe 2. Birmingham 3. Leicester 4. Glasgow 5. Edinburgh 6. Eastbourne 7. Poole 8. Redcar 9. Kent 10. Berwick 11. Somerset 12. Newcastle1 point

The fact that Jason Crump is riding premier league Speedway 2020 for Ipswich is due to a unique combination of circumstances! To compare this with any other situation is not a true comparison. Jason's tallent/record puts him in speedways all time top ten. Rejoyce all U.K. speedway fans Jason & Niki will be putting "bums on seats".1 point

So basically he thinks Vissing is going to top the Championship averages come the end of the season1 point

I think that's wishful thinking, Harris has been on the slide for a few seasons now.1 point

My son needed some track time Before the season starts and with the weather up here in Glasgow really bad decided to head south we had planned to practice at Scunthorpe on Saturday But it was cancelled so we new rye house was also open Saturday and weather looked ok so just kept going south and glad we did got plenty Laps in to blow the cobwebs away1 point

Can't expect Jason to he successful this year as he has the weakest team in the league!1 point

It’s a lot lot harder for us up here as its really 2 days for the iow trip and pretty much the same for Plymouth and it could be even worse if you get there and it’s called off and if the rider has a full time job , it’s hard to fit all meetings around work holidays it’s a hard journey back when you know you have got to start work at 7.30 the next day and you only got in at 41 point

Mauger also won both of his second half rides in each of the team matches and his Silver Sash race against Ken Sharples resulting in him riding a total of three meetings at Sunderland with seventeen wins from seventeen races.1 point
